Our culture

We are a company that essentially values relationships, respect for people and prioritizing their development. We do not work. We change the world a little every day, through active, inclusive and empathetic listening. We want to provoke discussions that lead to positive changes within our team and that can be carried beyond DeÔnibus.

How did it all begin?

Our story began in India in 2011, when during one of the stops on his trip around the world, Breno Moraes met his sister Mariana Malveira. Inspired and impressed by the ease of traveling by bus there, they decided to bring this convenience to road trips in Brazil.

In 2012, they created Brazil By Bus - the first website to sell Brazilian bus tickets to foreigners. Our road was paved with so much love and energy that Brazilians entered the radar and, in 2018, DeÔnibus was created - a website entirely dedicated to selling tickets to Brazilians.

Why was my seat changed?

Why does this happen?

Sometimes, the seat you chose may be changed automatically. This happens when the partner airline is unable to confirm your initial choice due to a last-minute change. But don't worry! Our system always searches for the best available alternative, ensuring that you can continue your journey with peace of mind.

How to solve this?

If you don't like the new seat, we have a few options to make everything the way you like it:

Change the seat with the airline: you can try to change it directly at the airline's ticket office up to 3 hours before boarding, subject to the availability of other seats.

Check other available seats: check our system to see if there is another seat you prefer. If you find one, just make a new reservation and cancel the previous one. Then, contact us and we will refund the service fee.

Cancel the reservation: if none of the previous options work, you can cancel the reservation through our system. After canceling, contact us to receive a refund of the service fee.

What if the changed seat is for a child?

Our system is not yet able to automatically identify whether the reservation is for a child, which may result in a seat far from the person responsible for the child. If this happens, please contact us. We will find the best solution to ensure that the minor travels with his/her companions.
