Device information: the model, the manufacturer, the OS version, the hardware version, the root management, the hardware capabilities, the sensors, the available memory, etc.

Components: the CPU, the GPU, the memory, the flash, the audio, the NFC, the charger, the wireless network, etc.

System: the firmware version, the bootloader, the root access, the time zone, etc.

Advanced Device Detection App

Currently, the detection feature covers LCD, touchscreen, cameras, sensors, memory, flash, audio, NFC, charger, Wi-Fi, and battery, depending on your device's compatibility.

The app is particularly beneficial for users and developers involved in kernel or Android development due to its rich features and functionality.

With a user-friendly interface and a sleek design, the app offers quick navigation and also supports dark and black themes, which are available in the Pro version or as a trial for two weeks in the free version.

Users can effortlessly switch between tabs or utilize the navigation panel, with many interactive items that lead to additional tabs or menus.

Please note that on certain recent devices, access to some information may be restricted.

Device Info HW endeavors to present as much information as possible, and if your device is rooted, the app can retrieve even more data (this feature can be activated in settings).

Highlighted Components:

- LCD: displays model, but detecting this on recent Android versions may require root access; includes a color check in the LCD test.

- Touchscreen: shows the model and supports multi-touch tests to determine the number of fingers it can recognize.

- Camera: provides hardware information such as model, vendor, resolution, as well as software details through the API. If the camera model cannot be detected, sometimes a list of supported cameras is displayed.

- Detailed System-on-Chip (SoC) information, including CPU (model, cores, clusters, family, ABI, governor, frequency), GPU (model, vendor, OpenGL, frequency, list of extensions; users can click on the clock speed to access the CPU monitor).

- System: offers comprehensive firmware build information.

- Memory: details LPDDR type and, for some devices, operating frequency.

- Flash: specifies the chip and vendor (eMMC or UFS); users can navigate to the memory tab to view memory and storage usage.

- Battery: provides essential information, with additional details available for some devices like discharging speed (current consumption), charging speed (charge current minus current consumption), power profile encoded by the manufacturer for consumption calculations.

- Thermal: displays temperatures from thermal sensors.

- Sensors: indicates basic sensor availability and includes tests for them.

- Applications: allows users to quickly find apps, view information about them, and access system apps.

- Drivers: discovers other chips used in your device.

- Partitions: lists partitions and their sizes.

- PMIC: showcases power regulator voltage lists applied to the components.

- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: provide connection info and supported features, respectively.

- Input Devices: lists input devices.

- Codecs: reveals decoders, encoders, and DRM information.

- USB: reveals connected devices via OTG.

Not all devices will be able to read driver information, as this capability is contingent on the system-on-chip and vendors. Users are encouraged to upload their device information if they encounter any issues.
