April 2024: DIM.RIA, a verified real estate marketplace, celebrates its birthday. 

The DIM.RIA team decides to make publishing verified ads free.

 On a permanent basis. Without any limits. Because truth is more valuable to us than money. 

DIM.RIA changes the rules of the game and makes truth the new currency for successful transactions in the real estate market.

What happened before this?

April 2014: Ukrainians admitted that they were lied to in the real estate market.

Over 80% of people looking for real estate encounter lies in ads – that’s how shocking the results of the study were.

The real estate market was almost entirely made up of lies.  39% of Ukrainians have found themselves in a situation where “Oh, this apartment was just taken away, but there is a cool option…” – and they don’t care that it’s in another area and twice as expensive. 

43% saw one price in the ad, and after viewing it, they were told another price.

Not at a discount, of course. In 47% of cases, the exclamation “Wow” when viewing the photo in the ad changed to “Yo-yo” when actually viewing it – because the photos were from completely different apartments.

The DIM.RIA team decided: this will not continue! 

We set out to build an honest real estate market. 

October 2015: DIM.RIA launches real estate inspection by an RIA inspector. 

First in his native Vinnytsia.

No one has ever done this before: having the property personally inspected by a specialist from the online platform on which it is listed.  

We understood that the market needed it, but we had doubts: would sellers agree to inspections? However, very soon the experiment paid off - Vinnytsia sellers and landlords felt that inspected real estate was in much greater demand.

To this day, Vinnytsia remains the leading city in terms of the percentage of verified real estate.  

June 2016: RIA inspectors begin inspecting real estate in other cities.

 In total, 52 inspectors are currently working throughout Ukraine. 

The RIA inspector confirms the accuracy of the information provided by the seller or landlord in the ad and personally takes high-quality photos.

September 2016: RIA inspectors begin taking 360° panoramic photos so that buyers can see the absolute truth about the inspected property.

Look everywhere, and go for a viewing only when you understand: the property is worth it! Our inspectors have received the equipment to make these dreams of buyers and tenants come true.

For sellers, this is another tool to speed up the sale - inspections have continued to show that the truth helps sell.

April 2022: DIM.RIA introduces video call checks. 

Due to the full-scale Russian invasion, so many Ukrainians were forced to look for new housing that we decided: we need to make inspections more accessible so that the choice of real estate is safer. 

Since then, you can confirm the accuracy of real estate information 24/7 by simply contacting a DIM.RIA specialist via video call. 

June 2022: DIM.RIA launches a 3D map of verified real estate. 

And finding verified real estate has become even easier: simply by viewing a detailed map of your favorite area. 

February 2023: You can confirm the authenticity of real estate information by shooting a video in the DIM.RIA application.

This is another possibility for remote verification: all you need is a smartphone with the DIM.RIA application – and you don't even need to talk to anyone. 

We'll be back in April 2024. 565,545 apartments and houses have been inspected since 2015. 

This is 36,235,236 square meters (this is more than the area of Rivne and Ternopil regions). 

5,908 verified realtors work at DIM.RIA.
