Unlock and Upgrade Dinos

The currency used in Dino Squad is silver and gold coins. These coins are earned from the matches you finish and they can be used to power up your dinos and unlock new ones.

- Silver Coins

Silver coins are used to level up dinos, increasing their stats and effectiveness. Keep in mind that leveling up a dino costs a lot of silver coins but you can reduce the cost by just playing as the dino. Basically, the more you use a dino in battle, the more experience they will naturally gain.

- Gold Coins

Gold coins are used for practically everything else in the game. This includes unlocking new dinos, new weapons, and new modules. Gold coins are the premium currency of the game so they are much harder to come by.

Heal Up After Battles

Inevitably during a battle your dino will take some damage. In order to heal your dino you must find a captured control point and stay next to it for a few seconds until it starts to regenerate health at 300 health per second. Make sure you only do this when you are safe as taking any damage from enemies trying to finish you off while healing will halt the process. Remember also that there are some dino abilities that will heal you upon use.

Aim for Weak Points

Every dino in the game has a weak point which if you attack will cause a circle to appear over it. If you continue attacking the dinosaur the orange meter in the circle will fill up and once full your target will be 'broken' and every hit in that area will count as a critical hit that deals massive damage. Find out where the weak spot of your enemy is as quickly as possible and focus your attack on it.
