This is Disney Mirrorverse, a visually stunning action RPG game set in an all-new divergent Disney universe. Players assemble teams of amplified, action-ready Disney and Pixar characters to battle against a dark force intent on shattering the Mirrorverse. Venture through this perilous universe with beloved Guardians like Buzz Lightyear, Woody from Toy Story, Simba from The Lion King, Aladdin, Elsa from Frozen, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and many more!

Legends say the Mirrorverse was born from the collision of two blazing stars, creating two powerful magic mirrors: the Stellar Mirror and the Dark Mirror. These mirrors reflect amplified versions of familiar Disney and Pixar worlds - the Guardians who protect this unique place. However, when the Dark Mirror shattered, it gave rise to the Fractured, distorted beings determined to destroy the Stellar Mirror. Assisted by the great sorcerer Mickey Mouse, the Guardians can traverse through magical portals to combat the Fractured wherever they may appear.

Players can select from a range of powerful Disney princesses such as Elsa, Ariel, Merida, Rapunzel; cunning villains like Maleficent, Scar, Cruella De Vil; or classic Disney icons - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and many others. Each Guardian possesses distinct talents and abilities reflecting their stories, aiding in the battle against the Fractured.

Disney Mirrorverse guide: Save the universe by empowering your Guardians

Gameplay basics

Battle system

Control up to three Guardians in battle. To swap your units, tap on their icons at the top left of the screen. Every unit has a unique class tied to the character and class archetype, offers a special skill, and has light and heavy attacks to round things out.

In battle, you can move your selected character using a virtual joystick and perform light attacks and the special ability by tapping the corresponding buttons on the right side of the screen. Tapping and holding down your basic attack will transform your light attack into a heavy attack.

It doesn't matter which character you're controlling; you'll have access to every special attack for each unit. It only matters with the order of how you prefer to chain your attacks.

The next battle mechanic you'll need to master is dashing. Dashing is how you'll evade devastating attacks against your character. Swipe in the direction you wish to dash to perform the move successfully. Dashing out of any visible attack rings is how you'll get the most out of this ability.

Your units will offer a health and armor pool to determine in-battle survivability. Always watch out for how low your health drops, and take control of these low-health characters before they get knocked out. Units that hang out in the melee range are susceptible to taking a beating, so keep your eyes peeled and be ready to swap.

Story mode

Tapping on the Play button brings you to the game mode selection screen. Story mode is unlocked by default, and the subsequent chapters unlock as you complete a linear set of stages within each chapter. You can set the difficulty (unlocked after the tutorial) and chapter before playing through the story.

Expect stages to have dialogue events followed by battle sequences. Completing stages requires energy points (1 point is recharged every 5 minutes); you cannot initiate the stage if you have insufficient points.

Before entering a stage, check the recommended power level, and ensure your team's power level meets or is above the recommended value to clear that stage. Battles are completed in multiple waves, and between waves, you select buffs that benefit your team.

Clearing stages and working toward 3-star completion

After clearing a stage, you'll receive a rating based on the number of objectives you've completed. You can earn up to three stars and always want to earn the maximum number of stars. Essentially the more stats you earn, the more rewards you'll acquire, such as the orbs needed to obtain more characters. If you cannot get the maximum number of stars, you can always return later once your team grows stronger!

Disney Mirrorverse

To earn even more rewards and stars, you have the option to replay stages at a higher difficulty. The default is normal, but you can select hard and expert. You'll unlock greater difficulties for earlier stages as you've cleared more chapter stages on the lower difficulty.

Disney Mirrorverse

Events

It's a common gacha element to include ways to acquire special prizes within limited-time events. Events play out like story chapters and require energy points to participate. The difficulty spike may sneak up as you play through event stages, so it's strongly recommended to prioritize spending most of your energy points playing through the first few story chapters to power up your Guardians before tackling events!

Disney Mirrorverse

Creating a team

Putting together your dream team requires a lot of time, effort, and some luck. Thankfully you'll acquire a few units by grinding through the story, but you'll still need to invest in the gacha system smartly to claim the character on their featured rate-up banner; some banners are only available for a limited time only.

Acquiring characters — how to navigate the Crystals gacha system

As you play through the story's early chapters, you recruit starter Guardians naturally. However, the primary method of procuring more characters is through the "Crystals" gacha system.

I really enjoy playing this game. It's cool how you need to collect materials on the farm, and I haven't had to buy anything to progress. But those crashes are getting on my nerves. They used to just happen during loading before a battle, but now they occur while I'm playing.

The game is really good! I love how they redesigned the characters, and the gameplay is enjoyable. I'd rate it 3 stars though because the framerates are way too low. It's frustrating that the game doesn't work well with phones having pinhole cameras. The whole experience feels kind of clumsy and slow. Sometimes the textures don't show up properly, leaving me with weird purple backgrounds and animations. I wish the performance was better because the game itself is fantastic.

I thought this game would be cool because I really like the concept of Disney characters in different versions and their designs are awesome! But it turns out the game is very basic, has technical issues, and the way they push you to spend money is really irritating. There's no voice acting, the notifications don't work properly, and you can't even disable them. Also, there are constant pop-ups for the store every time you play. Fortunately, I didn't waste any money on it. It just ended up annoying me, even though I usually don't mind gacha games. So, I decided to delete it from my phone.

The game doesn't hold my interest. The gameplay is too repetitive and battling feels like a chore. It's hard to keep all characters alive for 3 stars when you can only control one at a time. I want more variety in the gameplay. It's just a constant cycle of spamming attacks, dodging, using ultimate moves, and repeating. The enemies don't offer much diversity, although I do enjoy the concept of the game. The characters are great, and I'm a Disney fan, but everything feels too dull and monotonous.

The game is pretty cool. The animations, characters, skills and stories are awesome. However, it sucks when you need to use actual money to get a top hero. Also, the game often crashes. Since I began playing yesterday, it has crashed like 4-5 times. And it's not my phone's fault, because I play plenty of games on it without any issues.

I love this game! The characters are amazing, their designs are just beautiful. Whoever created them did an awesome job. Each character has strengths and weaknesses to keep the game fair. The plot is really cool, I don't have any issues with it. Overall, Kabam, you did a great job with this game.

Gameplay is great, but you don't get to play much. It's too focused on paying to win and has a typical energy system. At first, there seems to be enough energy, but it quickly runs out. To get stronger characters, you need to pay. What's even more frustrating is when the game crashes during battles, wasting your energy and leaving you with no rewards.

I liked the game a lot. The player mechanics, storyline, and graphics were great! But it got a bit boring after a while since it felt repetitive. Also, the story theme is overused since Disney keeps releasing similar games where players deal with the same issue. It would be nice to have more diversity in themes.
