Turn on this application and walk or drive around a region to measure its area. The path's length is measured as well.

To begin a measurement, wait until the GPS receiver is ready and then press start. If the positioning is a little shaky in the beginning, press restart as soon as it has stabilized.

The application is intended for use with areas larger than 1000 square meters (approximately 1000 square yards).

    This app, well... let's just say it's not the most trustworthy. I don't want to undermine the effort put in by whoever made it, but it doesn't always show the right distance. Like, on two separate occasions, it showed a gap of about 45 meters for the same path. Plus, it can't handle curved routes properly; instead, it turns them into straight lines and ends up giving a difference of over 400 meters for a longer path. It could be helpful if fixed, but as of now, it's pretty much pointless.

    This app has been my go-to for GPS measurement ever since I got my S2 back in 2015. It's the best one for Android, hands down. Never had any issues with it. A solid five-star rating every single day! 😊 Just wanted to add that I'm still using it in 2022! For those who mention its inaccuracy, here's the deal - when it comes to measuring short distances of around 5-10 meters, it might not be super precise. But it really shines when measuring longer distances from 50m to 100km. If you get what I'm saying! If you need to measure something over a shorter distance, just walk it out! 🚶‍♂️😉

    I used this app. I took about 7-8 steps before stopping. The app displayed a total distance of 40 meters. Surprisingly, the meter kept increasing even though I wasn't walking anymore.
