Had problem with video not loading and an error message about using too much memory. Solved by ensuring live stream and playback are set to mainstream. Now, issue is playback cutting off during viewing, especially when zooming in. App is great once you understand it.

The alarm messages are not working properly after the last update in March. Sometimes they only show the live view ID and don't load the alarm video. Since the latest update on October 12th, we have to select cameras each time we go to the "Live" view because it doesn't remember our previous selection. The app seems useless because when we try to open a live stream, it often shows a connection failed message. There are also bugs in the playback feature when selecting a specific time on the timeline.

So, I've been using this CCTV system at the community center and it's been going smoothly. At first, I was using gDMSS but it stopped working when I updated to the new Android version 13. So, I switched to DMSS instead. And I have to say, I'm really happy with this decision as it's way easier to use. I can simply swipe across the timeline for playback without any issues.

The fast forward option is not good, it freezes sometimes. It's difficult to find a specific time on the recording because when it loads, it goes back about an hour, so you can't see what you wanted. Sometimes, the cameras don't load at first or show the same camera on all screens.

The camera zoom is not working right after the update. It was better before when you could easily zoom in on a specific area. I don't understand why they changed it. Also, now you need to press the view button to replay a video message, which makes the app less user-friendly. It would be great if they could switch back to how it used to be.

Everything was working fine until the update on March 8. Now, I don't get push notifications for motion detection anymore. When I try to play back recordings using my mobile data (4G), I get an error saying "no record." I can playback recordings without any problems when connected to remote wifi, but not on 4G. Also, I can no longer see the timeline to skip through the recording clips of motion detections. I use a Surface Duo running Android. Please correct these issues as they were working perfectly before the March 8 update.

There's a problem with the app update where the live view won't load on mobile data but sometimes works on Wi-Fi. It's important for business purposes, so please solve it. I'll rate it 1 star until fixed, but will give 5 stars later as I like it. Thank you.

To make the app work on an Android 11 device using mobile data, you need to follow these steps on your phone: Navigate to settings -> connections -> More connection settings -> Private DNS. Choose Private DNS provider hostname, enter dns.google, and save. Open the app, and it should function properly.

The new version of the app has awesome extra functions compared to the old one, but it often has issues. It's much more complicated than the old one, even though the extra functions are great. I typically install Dahua brand security cameras for my clients, and they found the old version easy to use. However, they struggle with the new version, which is now the only option since the old one is no longer available.

In 2024, the app got a 1-star rating. The user feels there's been no improvement; in fact, it's getting worse. The app keeps asking for the password every time and seems like it doesn't support Android 10 or later versions. It appears that the app is quite outdated. Then on December 7, 2023, it received a 2-star rating. The user mentioned that when trying to view recorded videos, they cannot select a specific time; it keeps skipping. The app constantly asks for a login when refreshed and prompts for a password with every update. The user is requesting someone to investigate and address these issues.
