Check your elements

Always make sure you’re picking up the right elements. They’ll be displayed in the top left of the screen, so you can check what you need at any point. You’re not always aiming for a single element, and the deeper you get into the game the more likely it is you’ll need to be picking up a couple. Avoid grabbing anything that isn’t the element you need.

Upgrade evenly

You’ve got two stats that you can upgrade at the start of each level. You’ll do this with the cash you earn from your runs. Make sure you’re upgrading them evenly instead of focusing on just one of them. There’s not much point watching the videos to increase your level, though, unless you’re really struggling to finish a challenge, which is going to be unlikely.

Tap fast when you fight

Don’t try and use finesse and guile when you’re fighting the bad guy at the end of the level. Instead, just mash the screen as quickly as you can. The quicker you take your foe down, the less chance they have to damage you. Tap fast and you’re going to be in with the best chance to win.

Unlock the new elements

The only time you should be watching extra video adverts is when it’s time to unlock new elements. These add a little bit of variety to proceedings and let you create different superheroes, after a manner. 

Watch out for the fences

When you spot a safety fence, that means there’s something dangerous coming up. The fences usually only cover a small part of the path you’re on, giving you a chance to move out of the way early to avoid the hazard that’s coming up. Quite often the fence will cover a drop and there’ll be a bridge to the left or right of it that you’ll need to cross.
