The Best Tips and Strategies to Survive
Doomsday Shelter: Survival Gameplay
The gameplay of Doomsday Shelter: Survival can be divided into two parts. The base building, and Explore. The exploring mode is the main gameplay, and you have to play the base-building aspect of the game to get the tickets you require to explore more.
Every time you start a new match in the explore mode of Doomsday Shelter: Survival, you get two soldiers who directly move to the finish line and shoot in a straight line. They will meet zombies, chemical puddles, weapon buffs, and team buffs as they advance in this road. Your job is to quickly switch lanes by swiping left and right to collect the best weapons and avoid danger.
But not all of the hazards you find on the road are equally dangerous. For example, if you hit the smallest zombies, you will only lose one member of the team, but if you hit a horde of them or a humongous zombie, you will fail instantly.
So, if you come to a place with two small zombies on one side and a chemical puddle on the other, you should definitely take the road with the zombies, even if you know you can't get rid of them. This way, you will only lose one of the team members and you get to progress, but if you choose the chemical puddle you will fail.
Choosing Guns
One other thing you should pay attention to while playing this Doomsday Shelter: Survival rush mode is the guns you pick. As you complete each nod of the survival rush, you will see new weapons are offered to you as buffs.
Since the game provides no explanation or stats for these guns, the theory we can use to pick the best gun is that bigger guns are always better. The rifle will always be better than the pistol, the RPG will always be better than the rifle, and so on.
Adding Members
Same as the weapons, you also should not miss any opportunity to add new members to your team. Shooting the statue-like structure and walking through them will activate them and add a number of soldiers to your team.
The number of soldiers you get from these statues depends on the power of the statue. Some will give you one soldier, and some will give you two. Adding members will increase your rate of fire, or you can sacrifice them, as we said earlier. So same as the guns adding members to your team is something you should not ignore.
Stick to Campaign Missions in Early Game
So by now, you know all about the Doomsday Shelter: Survival rush mode, but to progress in it, you have to play the base-building side of the game and earn tickets. So, let's learn about how to quickly progress in this base-building mode.
In the early game, if you are a curious person, you might feel that it is best to explore all areas of your base and collect all the resources. But to clear them all, you will have no combat power, and you will waste a lot of time trying to figure out where is what on your own.
The best thing you can do in the early game is only doing the campaign missions. Not only will this provide you with a sense of direction, but it will also explain the most important sections and mechanics of the game.
In addition to the above-mentioned benefits, chapter missions in Doomsday Shelter: Survival reward you with speed-ups, shields, character exp books, and a ton of food, wood, and other basic materials. You can use these materials to upgrade and unlock new buildings quickly rather than finding ways to gather these materials per upgrade.
Keep up with the Intel task
As you complete the chapter missions, you will unlock the intel building. Completing intel tasks should be your foremost priority. In the initial stages, these tasks grant you hero badges, as well as epic and elite fragments for specific heroes.
As you progress, the quality of the intel mission rewards also increases, so if you are looking for resources, this is one of the places that you should come to every day. Once you finish the set of intel missions it provides, they will take 8 hours to reset. Make sure to do all of them before this reset happens, and be ready to do the other set as soon as it refreshes to get the most out of this free treasure trove.
Conclusion
Mastering the intricacies of Doomsday Shelter: Survival requires a combination of strategic thinking and tactical execution. By sticking to these survival tips we provide here, you're well on your way to collecting tons of rewards and resources necessary for survival in this treacherous world of Doomsday Shelter: Survival.
