DR LYD - Radio & podcasts player

It's terrible compared to my podcast player. I have to use it because DR closed its RSS feeds. It's disappointing that DR, of all providers, doesn't support open standards.

Am I the only one who thinks the upgraded version is eating up a lot of battery? Still a cool app, but my Samsung Galaxy S8 is having a hard time keeping up with the battery level.

The widget's missing! It was the best part of the app. Fix it, please!

Sometimes the connection between the headset and the radio gets lost. In such cases, you can't restart the radio from the headset. The same goes if you accidentally pause the radio.

Oh no, the app used to pause when I disconnected my output source like a Bluetooth headset. But now it just keeps playing even if my phone volume is off. This drains so much battery and messes up my progress in podcasts.

So, like when I'm using the Fin app, it kinda pauses a bit sometimes. It could be my connection though. But I think it would be great if there was an alarm feature. Then it could start a specific channel at a specific time.

So, the new app has been working fine for a while now. But I miss the alarm clock! Any chance of it making a comeback?

That thing is downright difficult to use, making it really dangerous while driving. To switch radio stations, you have to look and swipe multiple times to find the right one. Then, you have to locate and tap a tiny play button. It requires all of your attention while doing all of that. And you have to do it every time you want to change the station. Make big icons/boxes for P1, P2, P3, etc. where 1 press equals a change. The back and forth buttons on the steering wheel should also switch the channels.

Wow, that phone is just terrible now. It keeps stopping at weird times and takes forever to start up again. Get it fixed, doctor.
