Droid Dashcam is an excellent video recording tool designed for drivers (dashboard camera, BlackBox) that continuously records videos in loop mode. It enables users to add subtitles directly on the videos, as well as records in the background, starts recording automatically, and offers various other features.

How to install Droid Dashcam - Video Recorder on your Android device:

    This product is just fantastic. The dash cam app is really amazing. It depends on your camera though. With a good camera and a bit of time to adjust the settings to match your phone and preferences, it becomes a top-notch dash cam program. Note for the developer: Could you add a toggle to switch between night mode and day mode? This way, we can preset the settings for each mode once and just switch between them as needed.

    I'm glad you like the app! The first one you tried stopped working after an update, and they didn't fix it. Another app you used had the same issue with updates breaking it. But this app always works and is easy to use.

    I love this app! It's amazing and so easy to use with its cool features. The feature that saves videos in a special temporary folder makes it even better. But there are some things I'm not so thrilled about. One is the overheating issue which can be quite concerning, my phone gets really hot and I have to shut it down to let it cool off. Also, the camera focus isn't the best as it doesn't capture license plates accurately. If the app could work alongside Google Maps, that would be awesome. And an improved camera view as an option would be great too.

    It's a great option as a replacement for a cheaper dashcam. I've tried some cheaper ones before but they weren't worth it. I wish it had a record lock feature like Drivesmart, as I often accidentally turn off recording. I've attempted using the Start on charger setting, but it only works when the app is closed. This leads to it recording all night when I just want to charge it.

    First impression - app is great! Better than my old favorite on Alcatel dashcam phone. GPS shows speed and recorded video has speed, date, time. 2 weeks later, still impressed. Video slightly jerky, especially at junctions or roundabouts. Jumps a bit every 1 sec, maybe when speed updates on screen? Night sensitivity is good.

    I found this app by accident and decided to try it out. I was truly impressed by how good it is. It's very user-friendly and has a wide range of settings for customization. While there are ads, they aren't bothersome. It's much better than Nextbase. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Thank you to the developers, I hope you all stay safe and well.

    Downloaded a new app, tried it a few times. First thoughts are positive: it's simple to use and the recording sounds good - much better than my old cheap dash cam. I really like that it starts recording automatically when my phone connects to my car via Bluetooth - very convenient. Had some trouble with overheating, but will try fixing it by adjusting settings.

    I tried many apps, but this one really works for me! Surprisingly, I can switch between different cameras on my Huawei P30 Pro. The image stabilization is always perfect, making my night recordings super clear, even better than my Blackvue dashcam sometimes. I definitely suggest trying out this app.
