The Live TV and Catch Up content available on the app corresponds to the user's DStv subscription package and subscription country, with access restricted to countries within DStv territories due to geo-blocking restrictions. 

DStv customers can enjoy various features on the app, including live streaming of selected TV channels, Catch Up on popular shows, sports, and movies, downloading up to 25 videos for offline viewing on up to 4 devices, accessing a safe viewing environment for kids with PIN-controlled DStv Kids content, viewing the full 8-day TV Guide, and setting reminders for their viewing schedule. 

It's important to note that the DStv app is not compatible with uncertified Google devices for legal reasons. Users are advised to verify their device certification via the Google Play Store Menu.

    The app was working well until they changed its name. Everything still functions similarly, but the 'Recently Watched Channels' feature isn't working now. Now, you have to search for the channel again every time you want to continue watching something, even if you were out of the app briefly. It would be great if they could fix that issue. Overall, it's a wonderful app.

    There's this cool App I use when I'm not at home. It lets me watch my favorite shows from my package. The only downside is that the App freezes sometimes, especially during live TV, which can be annoying. It's not a big problem when I'm watching catch-up shows, but it happens occasionally when I'm watching live TV.

    Is there even QA at the company? I'm curious if any employee or manager uses this app. The new streaming player is bad. You can't switch channels while streaming. You have to enter a channel and only see a black screen. Then you have to go back and re-enter. But it still doesn't work. The player displays -8:-8. You have to go back, see the black screen, go back again, and re-enter the channel. Only then will it start working. Where is the QA for these aspects?

    This app is awesome! I can watch all my favorite shows anywhere without much waiting. I absolutely adore it and think all movie fans should try it out. The people who created this app are working really hard to make sure it's amazing for everyone, and it really pays off. Can't wait to see what they do next!
