Man, I'm really disappointed with the new update. I'm learning German using this app, and before, when I'd select words in the text, a little menu would pop up with a 'translate' button for me to quickly figure out unknown words. But now, that feature's gone, and I have to close the app and paste the text into a translation app. It's so annoying and takes up so much time.

Oh, there's this amazing news coverage app that keeps you updated on the latest world events. It's really thorough and deserves all the praise it gets. Every time I read the DW world news, I feel completely satisfied. Thank you so much for creating such a great app.

On November 24, 2022, as per the developer's guidance, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it was no good. The video still kept stopping abruptly, and there were tons of annoying ads. Decided to uninstall it. Then, I updated the app on November 14th, but now it's all messed up - videos keep pausing, sound breaks frequently. It's just a headache now; I'm thinking of getting rid of the app. It's disappointing to have to say goodbye to this channel. On November 19, 2022, their news reporting was excellent. Just wished they had an on-screen volume control and a dark mode option for listening in the dark and to save battery.

I got a new phone recently. The DW app is still acting up. It stutters and as a left-handed user, it's really inconvenient. Even with my old phone that I used for four years, the app barely functioned. I used to be a big fan of DW and still am, especially when it comes to journalism. But the app isn't great. They must have hired the wrong designers for it.

I really like the app. The proxy feature is super helpful, especially in countries with more restrictions. But I wish it had dark mode. So, 4 out of 5 stars from me!
