It’s time to find the best of the best. New for 2023/24, EA SPORTS FC Pro Open is finally here. More than 50,000 of the world’s best players from all over the globe will compete against each other to earn places in the inaugural FC Pro World Championships to be crowned the greatest player of their generation.

Are you ready? The future starts here…

FC Pro Open will feature 20 of the best FC players in the world competing in weekly competition for the opportunity to lift the first trophy ever awarded for EA SPORTS FC. Do you think you belong on that list of 20 names? Read on to see how you can prove it and earn one of those coveted seats. Across all FC Pro Open Competitions, a $1,000,000 USD in prize pool money is up for grabs. 

Register and Earn the Competitive Game Mode

Before you can enter the FC Pro ecosystem, you must register and agree to the EA SPORTS FC Pro 24 Official Rules. After you register and reach Division 4 in the Ultimate Team Rivals game mode in EA SPORTS FC 24, you’ll gain access to the Competitive game mode which you’ll use for FC Pro Open matches. Both the registration and Division 4 requirements must be met by October 14 to be eligible for FC Pro Open competitions, including the FC Pro Open Regional Cups.

So what are you waiting for?

You will receive an email notifying you that you’ve unlocked the Competitive Game Mode within five days of reaching this requirement, at which point it will appear in your menu within the game. With this email will also be an invitation to join the FC Pro Open Ladder, the first step in your journey to FC Pro Open.

Note that the Competitive game mode will utilise single-leg matches with halves that take nine real-time minutes to complete rather than six. This is 50% longer than the standard game of EA SPORTS FC 24, but 25% shorter than the two-legged format that was played in previous seasons. We ran a test of this format with competitive players during the EA SPORTS FC 24 Closed Beta and saw positive results. We look forward to showcasing it in the coming months.

    The app is great, but I prefer doing the Squad Building Challenges in the game. The issue is you can't see the player being rewarded if the challenge has multiple parts. It should be easy to fix so you can check the player you're trying to get for your FUT team. Apart from that, it's really convenient for making transfers on the go. Update: It would be more helpful if you could view a player's full stats instead of just the 6 shown on the card.

    The app suddenly made everything look too big and it's straining my eyes. Many others are facing the same issue. Also, when there's a repeatable issue, it should be easier to do rather than constantly closing the app. These are minor problems that need fixing. It feels like we have to wait forever for them to get resolved whereas if money was at stake, it would be fixed immediately.

    You guys are so annoying. I can't even make changes to my team without getting an error message. I used to be able to do everything perfectly, but now I can't even swap players or put them on the transfer market. It's been like this for about two weeks now. The app was fine before, but now it's just broken because of some dumb update. It's ridiculous that a company as big as yours can't even get a simple app right!

    When players disappear, coins don't show up unless you restart the game. I wish we could view in-game stats for players on the companion app. It needs a lot of work. Another problem is when searching for recent players in your club, duplicates come up instead of new ones. The app keeps getting worse.

    I tried to do an 83x5 attackers SBC on my phone. I manually selected the players. But when I went to submit it, the game automatically changed the players to the highest rated ones for a second. I don't know if it was a bug or not, but I'm really upset. I would never use my best players like 93 rated Mia Hamm, Zidane 92 from an SBC, Ginola's 1 million-card, etc., for such an easy and small SBC. Please investigate my account.

    Honestly, this app is a bit disappointing. I've been using it a lot recently, but I've encountered numerous glitches that are frustrating. Sometimes my coins get stuck and I can't make purchases, and other times I can't sell players to earn more coins. It definitely needs some serious fixing. On the bright side, it's helpful for adjusting your team when you're away from your console or PC. It could use some improvements, but overall, it's decent.

    This app is awesome, it really simplifies the Squad Building Challenges compared to doing them on console. I've noticed that there aren't as many challenges for Serie A players though, maybe it's just me? Oh and by the way, if you're having trouble with the app not working, make sure you're not logged into your console at the same time. Also, if you quit a game without exiting FUT, it might cause issues when trying to log into the app.
