EA SPORTS FC MOBILE 24 SOCCER – Tips and Tricks to Win More Matches

Tip #1. Increasing your OVR Ratings 

One of the biggest tips any veteran of the community can impart you is to simply increase your teams’ OVR ratings. In EA SPORTS FC MOBILE 24 SOCCER, there’s a mechanic known as “scoring opportunity”. These opportunities determine the likeliness of your players scoring a goal. This is viable in all game modes, but more so in Ranked matches, and VS Attack mode. The quantity of scoring opportunities you get is one of the factors that determines whether you win or lose a match. 

Every game starts with the assignment of these scoring opportunities, where each team has a fixed amount of basic, good, and great scoring opportunities in addition to a chance for counterattack scenarios. You can experience an easy and smooth-sailing journey if you have a team with very high OVR. This is because the higher the team’s OVR, the higher their chances of getting more basic and/or counter-attack chances. 

There are a number of ways to increase your team’s OVR, the first of which is to just swap out your players with the lowest OVR for new players with better and higher stats. Of course, this is easier said than done, given that playing cards can get pricey and that upgrading will make it more costly to move up the ranks. 

Tip #2. Passing V/S Stopping V/S Shooting

Making snap decisions is frequently required to score goals. However, EA SPORTS FC MOBILE 24 SOCCER is more of an RPG than a skill-based game in that your players may still miss passes and shots if their stats aren’t high enough, even with flawless execution. In this way, the key to your success is knowing when to shoot, when to pass, and when to actually stop and get possession of the ball before doing either. 

In most cases, it may be worthwhile to make an effort and go a little slower, particularly if you’re just getting started and your players are still not very skilled or trained. This means that instead of just spamming passes and shots before your players have the ball in their possession, which can seriously impair your accuracy and success, you should actually stop the ball before passing and try to take shots from a straight angle or from a resting position.

Tip #3. Tackling at the Right Time!

Tackling stands to be one of the best offensive game mechanics, allowing players to intercept the ball and bring it under their control. Oftentimes, this mechanic is abused in a negative way by new players, as you might feel tempted to simply go in and press the “Sprint and Tackle” button located on your screen. And, agreed that this might be a viable strategy for early game teams, this strategy fails to hold any ground against strong teams that have a grip on their timings. 

Timing, is the key word here. Tackling is used in both defensive and offensive situations. When your defenders are attacking from an angle, it’s wiser to try to predict their next move and defend in that direction rather than trying to close the distance and ultimately falling behind them. This holds true both when you’re defending at an angle and when the other person is moving much more quickly than you. It’s preferable to take proactive action rather than pursuing your opponent mindlessly.
