How to understand the chargeback on my credit card statement?

Before we start the explanation, there are some important things you need to know:

When purchasing one of our plans, the TOTAL amount of the plan is deducted from your credit card limit and therefore the amount reversed is calculated on top of the total amount of the plan purchased.

The deadline for cancellation and refund by eduK is up to 10 (ten) business days. After this period, your credit card company has another 05 (five) business days to make the reversed amount available on your invoice.

Now, let's get down to business: how to understand the chargeback on the credit card bill?

We will use a simple example to make it easier for you to understand how the chargeback works on your invoice.

Example: You purchased the EDUK MAIS annual plan and split the purchase into four installments of R$ 89.97 (4 x R$ 89.97 = R$ 359.88), but you had to request its cancellation and contacted our Customer Service Center to make this request. In this case, here's what your chargeback will look like:

When you request cancellation, you will receive a refund of the full amount of the plan, but the installments may continue to be posted to your credit card. As the total amount of the plan was removed from your credit card limit, upon receiving the refund of the amount, the card company can choose to carry out this procedure in two ways:

The amount of the reversal is made available on the invoice and the remaining installments are advanced, so the amount returned is used to deduct all future installments;

The amount of the chargeback is made available on your invoice, but the posting of future installments is maintained. In this case, the amount credited to your invoice is used to deduct from the total debit of the invoice for the month in which the reversal is made.

In the example, if your card operator opts for the second option, when the refund is made, your invoice will show both the reversed amount accompanied by a minus sign to the left of it (- R$ 359.88) and the posting of the 01/04 installment in the amount of R$ 89.97. Then, in the following months, you will see the other installments on your invoice until the 04/04 installment is posted.

In some cases, the reversed amount may also appear with the letter C in front of it (example: R$ 359.88 C). The letter C is the abbreviation that operators use to refer to the word _credit_.

How can I request the cancellation of my plan?

According to the Consumer Protection Code (CDC), you have 7 calendar days after the purchase is made to request the cancellation of the purchase. If you are within this period, request your cancellation by sending an email to meajuda@eduk.com.br or contact us through the chat through our web.

Wrong name on the certificate: what to do?

If your name came out incomplete or with any spelling error on your certificates, in order for the correction to be carried out, you need to contact us through the chat: Talk to the chat or email: meajuda@eduk.com.br informing your full (and correct) name along with the name of the courses whose certificates came out with the wrong name.

It is important to note that the certificates will always come out in the name of the holder of the signature and that we do not change the names that come out of the course certificates to the names of third parties, okay? 😉

How to download video lessons on the eduK app for Android?

We have launched the option to watch courses in offline mode for Android starting with version 5+. Therefore, you who have this operating system on your tablet or cell phone and have access to the Premium plan, will be able to take advantage of this new feature within our application!

Here's how easy it is to download the video lessons from the eduK app for Android:

1- Log in to the application with your email and password.

2- Click on ENTER.

3-Open the course you want to download the video lessons and click on the download icon.

4- Once the video lesson download is complete, you will see this icon:

5- To access the classes of the downloaded courses, just click on the DOWNLOADS option available in the main menu.

6- If you want to delete the downloaded classes after watching them, click on the option below:

7- Select the REMOVE option.

By following these steps, you will be able to download, watch and delete all the video lessons of your favorite courses!
