FAQs

Does the app run books in PDF format purchased at Empik?

In Empik Go you can read books in PDF format, both those available by subscription and those purchased on Empik.com. We recommend comics in PDF format for children and adults.

Titles in PDF format are not available on e-readers (inkBOOK, PocketBook and Kindle).

How does the Empik Go application for Kindle TM work?

The Empik Go application for Kindle is an application available on your computer, thanks to which you can send e-books from your Empik Go Library to your Kindle TM reader.

Synchronize Reading/listening Progress

For proper functioning, Empik Go requires a mobile device (smartphone, tablet) with Internet access and equipped with the iOS (minimum iOS 11) or Android (minimum Android 5.0) operating system.

The application is also available on InkBOOK e-book readers (Classic 2, Lumos, Prime, Prime HD, Explore, Calypso). You can find it in the InkBook Apps app store.

From September 2020, the application can be used on PocketBook Touch HD 3, Touch Lux 5, Color, InkPad 3, InkPad X, InkPad Color and InkPad Lite readers. To receive the application, connect the reader to the Internet and update the software to the latest version. The Empik Go icon will appear on the bottom bar of the reader.

From October 2021, e-books from the Empik Go application can also be read on Kindle readers. Detailed information about the service is available at: empik.com/go/kindle

Yes. You can enable automatic progress synchronization in the application settings. From the moment you turn it on, you can be logged in to your account on several devices, and when you launch selected books from the Library, their reading/listening progress status will be synchronized automatically.

Currently, it is not possible to synchronize reading progress between different e-book readers and mobile devices (e.g. PocketBook and Android phone).
