CONS

Reverts saves when changing orientation

Ads for every action

EmuBox - All in one emulator is a new all-in-one console emulator for Android that supports various old game ROMs.

Scan your own game file and play on your phone for free.

Multiple consoles in one package

EmuBox - AIO emulator supports the PS1 (PSX) and multiple Nintendo consoles, including the GameBoy, NES, and more. It can play virtually any ROM you have, with up to 20 save slots for each one. You can plug in or pair third-party controllers, and tweak various performance settings for improved gameplay.

Other notable features include a fast-forward button, the ability to take screenshots, and enabling cheats on games that support them. There are some issues though: it randomly reverts save states when changing screen orientation, and it shows ads for most actions in the app, and they're a lot.

Good but with some issues

All in all, EmuBox - AIO emulator is a solid game emulator if you want to play games from the era of the PS1 and classic Nintendo systems. There's a decent amount of game controllers it supports. The problem with game saves needs to be addressed quickly, though. Nevertheless, it gets a recommendation.

Features:

- PSX (PS1) emulator.

- Nin emulator.

- The first multi-emulator with Material Design.

- Save / Load game states: EmuBox supports up to 20 save slots for each rom.

- Take game screenshot anytime you want

- Fast Forward supported

- Play with external controller: Plug your gamepad in, or play with bluetooth gamepad.

- Tweak emulator settings for optimized performance

EmuBox does not include any game ROM. It is meant for playing private ROM backups only.

The app is awesome, but it does have some disadvantages, just like any other app. You need to handle your ROMs as if they were real DS games, so the Emulator Save doesn't seem necessary to me since I still save both in-game and on the Emulator. Additionally, you can't adjust the controls to be larger or smaller or reposition them, which would be beneficial for many people, including myself. Nevertheless, it's still a fantastic app.

I'm loving this emulator! It's super straightforward and has basic settings. I wish the thumbnails for my games would show up though. It runs most of the games I try, which is awesome since RetroArch struggles sometimes. This app seems like it's still being worked on, it's simple but has a lot of room to grow. I hope to see more features and a nicer design in the future. Give it a try if other emulators haven't worked for you, or if you want an all-in-one solution without dealing with RetroArch's layout.

This emulator is almost perfect. The playback is smooth, and the user interface is easy to navigate. However, to make it a 5-star review, there are a few improvements needed. Firstly, the ad experience for the pro version needs fixing. I don't mind ads as long as they function properly. Secondly, providing more customization options in settings, like moving controls, is essential. Many other emulators offer this feature, so it's a must-have. Thirdly, adding the ability to manage ROMs would be helpful. Lastly, allowing users to purchase the pro version would be a welcome addition.

Hey guys, I gotta say, this emulator is hands down the best one I've ever used. The sound quality is top-notch - it stays great even when you fast forward, which isn't something you see often in emulating apps. Plus, when you're playing NDS games in landscape mode, the main screen comes out bigger than the touch screen, but the touch function still works perfectly! And get this, it can also emulate GBC, GBA, and PSP games. It's seriously an awesome app - I recommend it to absolutely everyone.

I think this emulator is awesome! It's simple to use and runs my roms smoothly. Plus, it's one of the few emulators out there that supports a variety of platforms, including DS games. The only things that bug me a bit are that the buttons for DS games are on the bottom screen, which can get in the way sometimes, but I've managed to figure it out. Also, whenever my screen rotates, it brings me back to my last save point, which can be frustrating. I hope they fix that soon.

It's actually pretty good for what it is. It works well with few issues, but there's one thing that bothers me. Whenever my screen tilts, it sends you back to your last save point. If you hadn't saved up to that point, you go all the way back. It can be annoying, and I'm not sure why it does that. Maybe it could be an easy fix, but who am I to say? Apart from that annoyance, it's quite good considering it's free.

If you press play, you'll see an ad, but it's really worth it. The gameplay is super smooth and the sound quality is surprisingly good. When you're playing NDS games on an emulator, usually the sound can get messed up, but if you play in lower resolution even on a 4 GB low-end phone, both the sound and video come out great.

So, this app is like, really good overall, but there's some issues with loading PS1 games. The Game Boy Color emulator is solid, but adding cheat codes doesn't always go smoothly; sometimes just opening the cheat menu can crash the whole thing. With PS1 games, the app already has cheat lists available, but you can't add your own cheats, which is a bummer. Emulating Game Boy Advance games seems to work better on EmuBox than on RetroArch. NES games run well also, but can crash sporadically when trying to use cheat codes. It'd be awesome if the app had more cheats built in and gave us the option to add cheats for PS1 games.
