English Swahili Dictionary - Translate Swahili easily

Swahili & English Dictionary is an offline and free tool that enables users to search for both English and Swahili words. It offers the convenience of searching words directly from the "Internet Browser" or other Applications through the Sharing option. The shared word will open in the dictionary, eliminating the need to type it manually. Upon exiting the dictionary, users are redirected back to the original application. In addition to being a dictionary, this tool serves as a learning resource and does not require an internet connection. It includes a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) option, provides auto-suggestions, features a Speech-to-Text function, enables users to add and remove words from their study plan, and displays matching words as users type. Users can adjust settings to turn off Auto search for faster typing on smaller devices. A Dictionary icon on the notification bar allows for quick access to the app. With the sharing option, users can easily look up the meaning of any word.

FAQ

1. Why 'Copy to search' is not working?

On Android 10 or later OS, you will have to turn on "Show icon on other apps". Now copy a word, tap on the Floating Dictionary Icon, you will see the meaning on Popup. If you tap for long, the main app will be opened!

2. Why the pronunciation button is not working?

Please uninstall the Text to Speech Engine or its update of your phone and reinstall it and restart the phone.

3. Why there is Dictionary icon always on Notification bar?

Please go to settings of the Dictionary and uncheck the check box 'Show icon on Notification bar'.

4. Why I don't see all letters?

There is Shift Key on the keyboard. If you press the Shift Key you will see remaining letters.

5. Irritated with Full Screen Ad?

Please go to Settings of the Dictionary and set "Ad type" as "Banner".

6. Why my Study Plan and the history is erased?

Some other apps like 'Clean Master' are deleting required file of the Dictionary.

7. Why does the dictionary uninstall automatically?

The dictionary may uninstall automatically if you remove your SD card. To prevent this you can move the Dictionary from SD card to Phone memory going to settings of your Phone.

8. Why typing is slow?

Please go to setting of the Dictionary and uncheck the checkx-box "Enable Auto Search?"
