- Can I change my booking?

Meeting cancelled? Feeling unwell? 

Typically, the time and date on your ticket can be changed, but not the origin or destination. Conditions vary according to your fare.

If you decide to travel on a different route, you’ll need to buy a new ticket.

Additionally, the name on your ticket cannot be changed. Anyone else wanting to travel on the same route will have to book their own ticket.

- Why do I get an error message when I try to print my own ticket?

When attempting to print your own ticket you get an error message advising that there is a problem generating your ticket and to try later.

If you encounter this problem or you see 'Service unavailable', please go to the ticket desk in the station on departure from where we will be able to issue you with your tickets.

NOTE: if you are travelling from The Netherlands and encounter this problem, please contact our Eurostar customer service department.

- Is there wi-fi on board?

Yes. Trains across all routes have wi-fi on board.

Most of our stations offer wi-fi in public areas and in our lounges too.

- Is there anything I can't take on Eurostar?

Unlike airlines, we don’t limit the volume of liquids you can carry, so you can take all your toiletries with you, and even squeeze in a bottle of bubbly for the trip if you like.

- How much alcohol can I take with me on Eurostar?

Although you can bring alcohol with you and we serve alcohol on board, safety is our top priority. So, please drink in moderation.

If you behave in an antisocial way which ruins the journey for other passengers or break any laws or by-laws, we might ask you to leave the train at the nearest station.

    The app seemed promising but buying a ticket turned out to be a hassle. It took us forever to change the currency because of a voucher, and payments were a headache due to billing address issues. Our timing got messed up in the end.

    The app isn't great. Booking is alright, but everything else is unreliable, especially delay info. Despite few features, it's still a mess. There's an issue with showing a 15-minute train delay in June 2024 on both the app and website. It's frustrating how such a simple task is failing. July 2024 update: App is still bad.

    There are so many bugs in this app. I tried to pick a date for my trip, but it's not working. Even when I search with today's date, it keeps showing errors.

    The Eurostar app doesn't let you mix seating choices when booking roundtrip tickets. If you pick Business Premium for one way, you have to do the same for the return journey. If you choose Standard or Business Standard for one way, the app won't let you book Business Premium for the way back. It's a bit silly how it works like that.

    I love this app! It's so convenient to use instead of paper tickets. I wish it would keep me logged in and remember that I have carte blanche even when I'm offline. The phone signal at the station is not good, so a better offline function is vital. Eurostar listens to feedback and improves the app - great job! It'd be awesome if the app remembered my email for login.

    There's yet another update, and this time even though I'm logged in, my details don't automatically fill in when I buy tickets like they do on the website. This app just keeps having so many bugs.

    The Eurostar app is not good at all. It keeps kicking you out, doesn't let you add points from past trips, and won't let you change your meal choice even though it pretends to give you that option. It's pretty disappointing for a big company like Eurostar to have such a bad app.
