It was released on August 14, 2018 for Android and iOS devices. You can install at Play Store and Apple Store. This game has more than 50 million visits.

Plot

The Protagonist is sent to summer camp, and ends up being trapped in Eagle Junior High School. Your objective is to escape the school before the Nun kills you, you can escape in four ways, Through the Main Door, Through the Parking, Rescuing the Children and Through the Sewers.

Difficulty Settings

There are a total of 6 difficulty modes in Evil Nun, them being:

Dream Mode

Dream Mode is one of the 6 Game Modes in Evil Nun: The Horror's Creed. It was added in the game in 1.7.0.

In this mode, Sister madeline does not appear. Instead, The Player has to complete the word "Dream" within 3 minutes and all doors are open. If The Player gets all letters, she'll/he'll get 250 coins.

If the 3 minutes have passed and the player has not finished the word, she/he can spend 50 coins to get an additional minute or quit.

This is the only mode where the Player is the only character in the School.

Several of the doors that appear to be locked in other Game Modes, they are open in this one, making the Dream Mode the only Mode where the player can walk through them.

Interestingly, the only door that is not open is the laundry door. It is highly not recommended to follow the vent from Secret Bunker, since if you do, you either waste time, or get stuck if you go on the ending of the vent.

Ghost Mode

Ghost Mode is one of the six Game Modes in Evil Nun adaptions.

    Affections

Sister Madeline cannot see you, meaning that the Protagonist is free to explore the school without getting caught by Sister Madeline. This is perfect for beginners. But there are still some dangerous things to do.

Sister Madeline moves at normal speed, meaning that it has the same mechanics as Normal Mode but without her seeing you.

Sister Philippa can‘t see you.

    Notes

This is the only Game Mode where the Player shall randomly receive ads during the gameplay.

Even if the Ghost Mode prevents the protagonist from getting caught by Sister Madeline, she can still scare the protagonist somehow, because she still goes wherever a sound was made.

A glitch is that, if you lose all the 5 days in Ghost Mode, you'll still get the bad ending with Sister Madeline "seeing you" and putting you up the mask, as she is not supposed to see you in Ghost Mode.

Easy Mode

Easy Mode is one of the four difficulty options on Evil Nun. It affects the gameplay in a few ways.

Sister Madeline does not run, meaning the Protagonist can easily outrun her

Sister Madeline will not search for the Protagonist at first and will be busy praying, meaning he has time to search for items

This used to be the easiest mode in Evil Nun, until Ghost Mode was added.

Normal Mode

Easy Mode is one of the six Game Mode options on Evil Nun. It affects the gameplay in a few ways. 

    Characterestics

The Nun has a slow run - but is still slightly slower than the Player

She will start searching for the Player from the start of the game

Hard Mode

Hard Mode is one of the six Game Modes options in Evil Nun as well as Evil Nun 2.

The Protagonist has to escape the school in 5 days, in this mode, Sister Madeline has a better hearing and runs as fast as the Protagonist does.

    Note

This used to be the hardest mode until Extreme Mode was added in Version 1.4. However, since the prequel does not have this option, neither the Maze game, this is the hardest mode in these two games.

Extreme Mode

Extreme Mode is one of the six difficulties in the Evil Nun games. it is said to be the hardest of all.

Your action range is smaller.

The Basics – Evil Nun Game – Get Started

Before we head to the walkthrough guide, tips, cheats & strategy guide part, let’s learn the basics first. In Evil Nun game, have to open the exit door and escape the school. But there is a key(Master Key) which is required to unlock the exit door. And this key is in the safe box. Wait! Here is one more puzzle. The safe box is inside a room(that room is locked). And the safe box is also locked.

To open the safe box, you need a safe key. Any guess? Where can we find it? In the room, locker, closet, or drawers? Answer – To get the safe key, you need to beat the Evil Nun. But how to beat her? Is there any weapon? Yes! There is an explosive doll that you can use to beat Evil Nun. But there is a catch. You have to attach a dynamite with the doll(to make it an explosive doll). We will go deep into this section in the guide part.

Take a deep breath! The safe box is inside the locked room. And we need a code to open it. There is no specific code or password(every time, the game generates a new password). For the first time, it was(for us) 4537. But how to get this code or password? At the top floor, there is a skeleton. You have to put three objects to it; goat head, eagle’s wings, and white blanket. After it, the skeleton will look like a devil(As per the game). Evil Nun will start praying next to the devil(after putting the objects) and a message will appear(that message contains the code or password).

Just head to the locked room, enter the password. Open the safe box using the safe key and grab the master key. Use the master key to open the exit door and leave the house. So this is the basic Evil Nun game guide. Now, let’s check out our Evil Nun walkthrough, tips, cheats & strategy.

Evil Nun Walkthrough Guide:

1.) Pass The Electricity Supply To Open The Shutter Door

Evil Nun(Item requirement – small cable). The exit door is behind the roller shutter door. And to open the shutter door, you have to press the switch button. Prior to it, you have to restore the electricity supply. Go to the second floor(above the ground floor). On the right-hand side, there would be a door. Open it. Now, you are in the gallery. On the wall, there is an electrical panel. Aim to the lever and tap the hand(use) icon. Make sure you have small cable in your hand. It is required to pass the current. Where to find the small cable? Answer – In the lockers, drawers, closet, and rooms. On the benches, chairs.

After it, go to the exit door place(ground floor/first floor) -> tap the switch button. After it, all the shutter doors will open.

2.) Get The Message Or Code Or Password

Evil NunTo get the password, you have to find and put three objects to the skeleton(second floor). These objects are; goat’s head, eagle’s wings, and the white blanket. Goat’s head and the white blanket can be found in the toilet, in the rooms, on the benches, as a wall sculpture(goat’s head). There is an eagle mannequin in the construction area. Go to the second floor(skeleton area), on the right side, there is a window. Go there and aim over it. Tap the hand icon(use). After it, aim at the rope holding mannequin. To cut the rope, you need scissors. The scissors can be found in the lockers or on the chairs, in the rooms.

    Use Of Locker Code

There is a secret locker behind the library. Go straight towards the stairs, on the left side, go to the classroom. There is another door in the classroom. Open it. Now, you are in the library. There is another door in the library(actually, there are two; one is visible and another one is secret). Open the door. Now, you are behind the library. There are so many lockers in that place. Find the locker(with eagle stamps). Open it using the locker code. You may find a doll, item, scissors in this secret locker.

    The Secret Gateway In The Library

Evil NunIn the Evil Nun game, you need dynamite. You use the dynamite with the doll to blast. The dynamite is behind the bookshelf. And to go there, you have to open the secret gateway. Go to the library. There would be a pedestal book stand. Pick the heavy book and drop it. Place the Bible on the book stand(The definitive Bible). After it, a small secret gateway to the hidden room will appear. Switch to the prone position by tapping the boy icon and go there. There you will find dynamite.

After putting all the three objects on the skeleton, call the Evile Nun(make the sound and close the door, near skeleton). You can make some sound by dropping the heavy book or painting near the skeleton. After it, The Evil Nun will come(keep yourself in the room and close the door – the second floor, near the skeleton) and pray next to the devil. You will get the message – “The Evil Nun is praying for about 20 seconds”. Go close to the skeleton and check the message(note that code). 

3.) Open The Locked Door Using The Code

Evil NunAfter getting the code or password, go to the locked room(just left side of the room, where you spawn). Enter the code and open the door.

4.) Solve The Elevator Puzzle

Evil NunThis is the most difficult puzzle for a beginner who has just started playing The Evil Nun game. Near the stairs, point to the poster and tap the hand icon. Behind the poster, there is an elevator machine. For the first time, it will show you as Metallic Bland. Aim to the metalic bland(Metallic Bland) and tap the hand icon. Now, you have to put three objects to inside it: –

    A Doll

    Dynamite

    An item; crank

After it, tap the start button and wait for 20 seconds until it comes up again. You will get the explosive doll from the elevator(after 20 seconds). Get the explosive doll.

The Elevator Mechanics would not work as it is rusty. Use the oil to fix it. You can find this bottle(oil) in the lockers, rooms, closet.

5.) Get The Safe Key

Hide inside a closet(before going inside the closet, make some sound to attract Evil Nun). Tap the doll icon to release the explosive doll. After a certain amount of time(9-10 seconds), the explosive doll will blast and the Evil Nun will go to sleep(unconscious). On her body, search for the safe key.

6.) Get The Master Key

After getting the safe key, go to the room that we unlock in the 3rd step. There is a safe box. Open it using the safe key. And get the master key.

7.) Open The Padlock and Escape Or Leave The School

Evil NunGo to the exit door location and open the padlock using the master key(just aim and tap the hand icon). Now, you are outside the school.

Tip: – If you are having the trouble understanding the game’s mechanics, then enable the ghost mode. In the ghost mode, you are invisible and Evil Nun will not put you in the laundry room. Before you start the game, on the main screen, at the top, check the box next to ghost mode. This will help you in learning the school’s map, finding items, understanding the basic concepts. How do you escape in evil nun horror at school?

Steps

1. Find the Small Cable and place it in the Electric Panel

2. Open the Automatic Blind

3. Find the Broom

4. In the secretary room, climb up the chair where a Blue Handwill appear.

5. Look up and hit the rotten ceiling with the Broom

6. Take the fallen Cookies Box

7. Go to Balcony and throw it (try not to hit the tramboline)

8. Go to the Basketball court in which you threw the Cookies Box (Either from the hole in the fence or downstairs)

9. Get the Main Door's Key and unlock the door.

Evil Nun invites you to a religious summer camp. When you arrive, you notice that the camp is very different from what you imagine, when suddenly a nun knocks you down with a hammer. You wake up in an abandoned school and have to manage to avoid each other.

Cross the bridge

Welcome to Evil Nun. At the start of your game, you are locked in your room. You can view the objectives to figure out that you need to power up a fuse box first. Attention, the nun Madeline moves randomly in the school. Stay discreet by crouching so as not to make you wait. Use the many hiding places so as not to be seen. Avoid making too much noise by moving surrounding objects so as not to attract it.

Let’s start by finding the fuse box. Go upstairs to discover a door in front of the dining room on fire. Push the door to find the fuse box inside. Now that you know where to put the fuses let’s go looking for them. You can read the instructions in the objectives menu to find a clue where they are. The first is in the kitchen, the second in the dining room and the last in a nun’s room.

The simplest is on the ground floor. Look for the nun’s room west of the front door. You will find the fuse lying on a bed. Take the fuse back to the box above. Remove the hinges and insert the fuse. Let’s go looking for the second fuse.

Direction the dining room on fire and more particularly behind one of the doors to the west. You’ll find the kitchens inside with the fuse laying next to a window and the dishes.

The last fuse is in the dining room on fire. You spot an intact white cabinet in one corner. Open the cabinet to find the last fuse.

Insert all the fuses and pull the lever near the box. Follow the wire to find the exit. Activate the button to open the gate and cross the bridge to reach the neighboring building.

Look up

After crossing the bridge and the outer courtyard, enter the second building. Locate the theater in the center of the building and head east to spot a classroom. Pick up the broom in the room. Go to the exit door and open the door to the east. Look at the ceiling to find displaced boards. Use the stick to knock down a crowbar.

Box of cookies

Pick up the crowbar and return to the theater. Use the crowbar to open a hiding place to the left of the stage. Take the cookie box inside and exit through the outer door east of the theater. Climb above the building using a ladder. Join a chimney to throw the cookie box inside.

Go back down carefully thanks to the scaffolding. Directly on entering, turn left to find access to the cellar. Go inside to find the open box of cookies with a key. Take the key and exit through the school exit door. Run to the road to finish the level.

What's More

A sequel named Evil Nun 2 was announced in March 2020. However it later turned out to be a prequel because Keplerians confirmed that it takes place in 1939. While the original game takes place years later and it was made available on December 3, 2020.

This game replaced The Nun game. This happened due to legal issues caused by a feature film of the same name getting ready to release at the time.

This is the only game of Keplerians where Dream Mode exists.

The game has several Easter Eggs of YouTubers who have played the game and helped in its succession.
