FAQ

How can I make my account more secure?

When multi-factor authentication is enabled in your security settings, you will be required to enter an authentication code for each future login. The authentication code will be sent to your registered email and will expire after a set amount of time.

Turning on multi-factor authentication allows you to use FamilyAlbum even more safely and securely.

Please note that you will not receive an authentication code immediately after turning this setting on. You will only receive an email containing an authentication code when trying to log in on a new device or after reinstalling the app.

I haven't received my authentication code.

An authentication code will not be sent after you turn on multi-factor authentication in your security settings. You will only receive an email containing an authentication code when trying to log in on a new device or after reinstalling the app.

If you do not receive an authentication code when trying to log in, tap “Resend code” to get a new one.

If you still do not receive a new code, please do the following.

• Check your spam folder

Check if the email was filtered into a spam or junk folder.

• Make sure you can receive emails from FamilyAlbum

Configure your email settings to ensure you are able to receive emails from the domain "family-album.com".

• If you don't have access to the email you registered with FamilyAlbum, or if the above methods did not resolve your issue, please contact FamilyAlbum Support

Send an inquiry to support@family-album.com. Upon verifying your identity, we'll be able to update the email address registered to your FamilyAlbum account.

My child's grandparent/relative changed their phone or has done something so they can't log in. What should they do?

If they've registered an email address, they can use it to log in. If not, they need to be invited again by an Album Admin (parent member). They'll be able to register a new account from the invitation email they receive.

I’m a member of someone else’s album. Can I make a new album for my child?

You can create an album for your child by going to the Settings tab and tapping “Create Your Own Child’s Album”.

To view a different album, go to the Settings tab, then tap the album you’d like to view under Albums.

Please note that, while you can only join one album as an Album Admin (parent member), you can join up to ten albums as an Album Member.

(ex. use one album as an Album Admin, join nine other albums as an Album Member)
