How do I change my phone number?

To update your phone number, confirm you are using the latest version of the Favor app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, then log in to your account and follow these steps:

1. Tap the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen

2. Tap the Edit button in the top right corner of the screen

3. Select Phone and enter your new number.

4. Enter the security code texted to the new phone number

Can I have alcohol delivered?

Favor delivers alcohol from various partners in select cities.

You can find alcohol near you in the following categories: Alcohol, Dine & Drinks, and Beer & Wine. Alcohol delivery hours may vary by location. 

You must be 21 or older with a valid ID (issued by a U.S. state or federal government) and present it in person to the Runner upon delivery. If you are intoxicated or the Runner is unable to check your ID in person, your items will be returned.

How can I purchase a Favor gift card?

To purchase a Favor gift card, tap on the profile icon in the upper right corner of the Favor app, then select Give a gift card. You can also purchase a gift card online or pick up a physical gift card at H-E-B.

Choose a design and desired amount ($5 minimum, $500 maximum), and your gift card will be sent via email.

Gift cards can be applied to the entire cost of the order including fees, tip, and the cost of items (except when the order contains age-restricted products).

    They often do well, but I've had issues twice when no runner collected my order. It's frustrating waiting without any communication. One time I found out at 10 pm after ordering at 8 pm, so we couldn't eat anything else. Another time, the runner got the order wrong. Instead of food for three people, I only got three items. They didn't send the runner back to correct it, and I had to tip them. There is definitely room for improvement in their service.

    The Favor app works really great most of the time. I never have any problems with it. Their service is top-notch. What I especially like is they can go to almost anywhere, even if it's not listed on the app. They call it custom Favors. I really love the Favor app and their service. I usually use Doordash, but I turn to Favor when Doordash doesn't cover a specific restaurant or when Uber Eats doesn't offer what I'm looking for.

    In the beginning, there was a small issue, but once I reached out to customer service, things have been going well. I've grown to like this app a lot. It offers more options than any other app, and the best part is you can personalize your order. The communication between the Favor driver and me is superb 👏.

    Oh no, I forgot to check the subtotal and accidentally clicked continue, which resulted in my card being charged $71 for just one meal! Be careful because once the runner pays for your food, you can't cancel. Thankfully, my credit card alerted me about the total amount right away, so I was able to catch the mistake promptly. In order to cancel, you need to reach out to the runner via text or phone call. I managed to cancel the order and decided to uninstall the app. Instead, I went to a different place in person and found a similar meal to go for only a third of the price. I really didn't appreciate the surprise of the high cost, the difficulty in canceling, and feeling like the prices were inflated.

    There are new updates to the app that let you connect with the favor runner, and it has been working really well. The drivers show that they truly care about giving good service, which makes me want to give them bigger tips. I've tested out all the different meal delivery services, but there were always big issues with them. This one is definitely the best choice for me.

    Oh man, this one was a doozy. Let me tell you all about it. So, I thought I was getting free delivery, but nope! Turns out they charged me $75 for an order that should've only cost $17.05. And get this - there was a sneaky $2.99 service fee that they conveniently forgot to mention during the order. But wait, there's more! They automatically threw in a tip for the driver, nearly $7 worth, without giving me a chance to change it. And don't get me started on my bank statement - they didn't even list the company or the restaurant name, just some random letters and numbers. Good luck trying to figure that one out! Needless to say, I won't be using that app again. Uninstalled quicker than you can say "deceptive and shady"!

    Try another food ordering app, trust me. It said 30 minutes, but the timer went down to zero and then suddenly reset when they finally found a delivery person. The estimated times were all over the place and eventually disappeared altogether. At one point, it displayed "0 minutes," but after waiting for about 5 more minutes, it jumped back to showing "5 minutes away." It's frustrating not knowing exact times, but this app's performance is just unacceptable.
