How do I create a FedEx account?

You can create a personal or business account online. There’s no fee to open an account, but you’ll need to provide a credit card number so that your billing information will be connected to your account. You may see a $1 temporary hold on your credit card during the verification process.

How do I change my FedEx account user ID and/or password? 

To change your user ID:

Log in to fedex.com with your current user ID and click on My Profile.

Type in your new user ID with your current password.

Click on the Save Changes button.

To change your password:

Log in to fedex.com with your current user ID and click on My Profile.

Enter your current password.

Enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.

Click on the Save Changes button.

How do I find out my account number?

To access your FedEx account number:

- Go to fedex.com and select Sign Up or Log In.

Log in if you haven’t already.

Select My Profile from the dropdown menu.

Select Account Management to view your account number.

If your account number is hidden, go back to the Create a Shipment page and select Contact your administrator for assistance.

    This app is great! It offers many notification options and provides abundant information. The only thing missing is a back button on its pages. I appreciate being able to view my delivery history, but I wish it could go back further and allow us to search for past deliveries easily. Currently, I can't think of any other changes to make. It would also be cool if we could track the truck's location similar to UPS, so we know when our package is getting close to home.

    This app is really annoying. I always have problems every time there's an update and I have to log in again. Usually, I can fix it, but not this time; I keep getting an error message. I've tried everything - uninstalling, reinstalling, updating my password. Nothing helps. It's frustrating that a supposedly simple app can't work properly with updates. It's strange that it has a 4.6 rating when most people seem to be frustrated with all the issues.

    The app has been really useful for me. It's funny because my address is exactly the same as Wendy's, but with a different city and zip code. In the past, FedEx would always deliver my packages to Wendy's. That happened because when typing the address, the app suggests Wendy's first as it is in Chesapeake, starting with the letter "C". So the app always prompts me to double-check for Wendy's address.

    I downloaded this app because FedEx tried to deliver without letting me know. I've been at home all day waiting, but they didn't even send me a text, email, or call. The app has a notifications page, but I can't save any changes or preferences. It's basic functionality and seems like they're using material ui out of the box. There's no excuse for such basic functionality not working, it's really frustrating.

    Using the App on my Samsung Galaxy Ultra 22 has been a struggle. When I tried to open it, it got stuck on the "Fedex Home Page." After uninstalling and attempting to reinstall, it froze at 85%. Even after canceling and trying repeatedly, it remained stuck in "pending" status. I restarted my phone and attempted again until it finally installed and opened properly. This isn't the first time I've encountered this issue, but it's the first time it has bothered me enough to make a note of it for others.

    I have limited mobility due to being a paraplegic. I use extra delivery instructions to ensure my medications are delivered exactly where I need them. Living on a corner means my address the app really helps me keep track of my medications!

    Received 4 packages, tracked them with delivery instructions. Enjoyed following their journey before arriving. Text updates were helpful as the estimated delivery date changed twice, allowing me to get my items earlier. Updates kept me prepared for any changes. FedEx is awesome!

    App keeps crashing, making it hard to check my incoming shipments. Trying to change the hold location causes an immediate crash. The FedEx website is also annoying, especially when resetting passwords. Sometimes it takes over 10 minutes to receive a reset code via email, which ends up expiring. The app would be great if it functioned properly.
