How do I create a FedEx account?
You can create a personal or business account online. There’s no fee to open an account, but you’ll need to provide a credit card number so that your billing information will be connected to your account. You may see a $1 temporary hold on your credit card during the verification process.
How do I change my FedEx account user ID and/or password?
To change your user ID:
- Log in to fedex.com with your current user ID and click on My Profile.
- Type in your new user ID with your current password.
- Click on the Save Changes button.
To change your password:
- Log in to fedex.com with your current user ID and click on My Profile.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.
- Click on the Save Changes button.
How do I find out my account number?
To access your FedEx account number:
- Go to fedex.com and select Sign Up or Log In.
- Log in if you haven’t already.
- Select My Profile from the dropdown menu.
Select Account Management to view your account number.
If your account number is hidden, go back to the Create a Shipment page and select Contact your administrator for assistance.
