So, this file manager used to be awesome, you know? But now, it keeps shutting down after just 15-30 seconds. Super frustrating, especially on my Android 12 device. Funny thing is, on my tablet with Android 9 and another phone with Android 11, no crashes at all. But man, they really need to fix this issue! Oh, wait... Update: I gave up and uninstalled it because it kept crashing all the time. There are actually way better file managers available on the Play Store anyway.

So, I just started using Mi products not too long ago and ever since, they've become my go-to whenever I need something. This app is exactly what I've been looking for – it's simple to use and has all the features I want without any unnecessary extras. It really does what it promises to do! One thing I also noticed is that my video app couldn't locate some of my music and photos, so I couldn't access the files. However, I found out that I can easily do this through Mi File Manager instead.

Hey, all good apart from one annoying issue - I can't transfer my downloaded stuff to my SD card. It used to be smooth, but now it's asking for some permissions from File Manager for the SD card. I followed the instructions as requested, but no luck. It's like a never-ending loop of the same steps. This is driving me nuts because I have tons of songs and pictures to move around.

Sure, the interface works fine for me, but there are some things that should be fixed: 1.I'm confused why this default file manager in my Redmi Note phone is showing ads. Default apps shouldn't have ads, right? 2.It's quite frustrating that renaming a file takes so much time to complete. 3.When I copy or move files, it doesn't return me to the folder I was working in; instead, it goes back to the root menu. 4.Also, when I finish watching a video from a folder, it doesn't bring me back to that same folder automatically.

Hey there, everything's going smoothly with this app, but I really hope the developers can address these issues for the next update: 1.If you tap on a music file directly, a pop-up player appears. However, if you accidentally close this pop-up, the music doesn't stop. You have to force stop and restart the app, but that only works after the song finishes playing. 2.When you want to copy or move a file within the same storage, you have to go through extra steps by redirecting to the internal and external file options. Then you have to manually locate the nearest file to complete the move.

It sounds like the tool is a bit helpful, but using it is not enjoyable. The search function doesn't look through folders, so if you have multiple files with the same name in different locations, it's hard to know which is which. It would be much better if it displayed the file paths. Also, the tool doesn't seem to recognize symbolic links. The Android/data section appears empty even though it's not, and there are some flickering issues that only started after reinstalling. Since it kept malfunctioning, I uninstalled it. Moreover, it doesn't display tgz files, which makes it quite inconvenient.

So, you know when you open a file and that little prompt comes up with all the apps to choose from? Well, it seems like they've removed the option to "Remember my choice," which used to be really handy for setting a default app for certain file types. And have you noticed that when you open a folder with lots of files and folders, the view is always scrolled down instead of starting at the top of the page? It can be a bit annoying sometimes!
