FilePursuit offers a robust file indexing and search service that enables users to locate specific files from millions of files hosted on web servers. Our database is regularly updated by our automated crawlers that scan various freely accessible internet resources.
As a file search engine, FilePursuit compiles links contributed by individuals worldwide, offering a high-quality search experience across the vast array of files on the internet. This search engine streamlines the process in two key ways: by eliminating the manual task of searching for files and by conducting searches quickly and efficiently. Otherwise, users would need to visit sites individually and meticulously analyze each one, which can be time-consuming.
FilePursuit swiftly compares your search criteria with billions of web pages, delivering results within seconds. Users can conduct numerous searches within minutes, adjusting their criteria as needed to refine results. The platform scans the entire web, maintaining comprehensive data on each page cataloged. Due to its extensive file database, FilePursuit helps users discover obscure websites that may have otherwise gone unnoticed, typically providing more information than needed.
Operating FilePursuit is straightforward, similar to using other search engines. You simply enter your query in the search box and press enter or the search button to receive a list of relevant file search results. It's important to note that FilePursuit does not host any content; rather, it grants access to existing files, much like other search engines.
Please be aware that the app may display vertical letterboxing on TVs, meaning it might not fully utilize the entire screen space available.
FAQ
What is FilePursuit?
FilePursuit provides a very powerful file indexing and search service allowing you to find a file among millions of files located on web servers.
It's a file search engine where links are given by people all over the globe. It provides high-quality file search among the enormous number of files available on the web.
What is the difference between FilePursuit and other search engines available on the Internet (for example, Google, Yandex, Baidu and so on)?
Most of Internet search engines look through the contents of HTML pages on WWW servers, while FilePursuit looks through the file links available on those servers. If you are searching for the name of a particular file on WWW servers, you will most likely find the description of it rather the file itself. FilePursuit allows you to find an actual file that you can download.
I have found the files I need, but I cannot download them, the link does not work. Why?
None of the file links you can find on this site is located on current server, so this can happen very frequently.
There could be several reasons for that:
These files were recently removed from the server they were located, by the owner of the server or by someone else in the case of public servers.
The server that contains the files has a limit of maximum number of concurrent users logged in, and the limit has been reached. You can try to download the files later when some users disconnect or better still you should use a download manager that keeps trying to download the file.
The server where the files are is turned off or is not connected to the Internet at the moment.
The owner of the server has put a restriction on downloading these files.
Your ISP is restricting you to download the file from the website on the orders of your country's government or self-censorship.
Take a look at the date column on search results page, this represents the last time the indexer saw the file on the server, so the more recent, the more probable the file is available to download.
How can I download files from FilePursuit? Do I need an special program ?
You don't need a special program but it is very recommended. For example if you just click on the file link from your browser you can't see what is happening exactly between you and the server (see previous question). So I would recommend to use a good download manager or client that supports queuing, when you located the file you want to download just copy the shortcut by right clicking on the link and paste it on your download manager such as IDM (Internet Download Manager) etc.
