Wondershare Filmora: A Tool That Helps You Trim YouTube Video Effortlessly

Import the video

Click the Import option to import the video you want to trim for YouTube.

Drag and drop the video as shown in the image

Trim the video

Take the red vertical cursor at the start of the video and right-click. Then select Trim Start to Playhead.

To trim the end of the video, place the cursor at the end and right-click. Here, you need to choose Trim End to Playhead.

Add the subtitle

To add a subtitle to a YouTube video, click Title > Title Templates > Subtitle.

Add the transition

If you want to add a transition, select it according to your requirements.

Add the effects

You need to click on the Effects option to add it to your video.

Adjust the effects setting

To change the opacity and speed of the effect, click on the effect that appears at the top of the video you trimmed. Then change it according to your needs, as shown on the right side of the page.

Add the stickers

To make your video more appealing, add stickers. Click on Stickers options and select the one that fits your needs. You can also add social media stickers to your YouTube video.

Export the clips

After the trimming and editing process, click on Export.

Apply AI copywriting feature

To create titles and descriptions for your YouTube video after trimming, click on the AI copywriting option as shown in the image.

In the section “What is your video about?” you can summarize your video. Then click on the Export option to save changes to your video.

If you don’t want to use AI Copywriting,Go to Local > Output Settings, select the Resolution of your choice. Then click on Export to save changes.

Upload to YouTube directly

To upload it directly, click the YouTube option as shown in the image.
