FAQs:

- My bus didn't turn up can I claim a refund?

We’re sorry if your bus didn’t turn up – we’d be happy to refund any mTickets if not activated. If you have a paper ticket or an eTicket, please contact us below with the details of your journey to see where we can help you.  

- How long will I be waiting before receiving my refund?

For mTicket, eTicket and contactless refunds, the funds should be returned to you within 3-5 working days once processed. For other refunds such as BACS or cheque, this can take up to 28 days to process.

- I haven't used my activated mTicket, can I claim a refund?

Although activated tickets are non-refundable, we understand there may be times when you purchase the incorrect ticket or can no longer use it. Please contact us below with the details of your request to see where we can help you.

- I paid in cash, can I claim a refund?

Tickets that have been paid with cash onboard are usually non-refundable, however if you are having any issues, we’d advise to speak to the driver as soon as possible after buying it. If the driver is unable to cancel it, please get in touch below to see where we can help.

    The update required a lot of effort, but now the app seems more complex. Before the update, it was simple and perfect. I used to easily track my location, which was helpful when going to new places or on untracked buses. Recognizing stops and finding arrival times with just one click was so easy. Now, things are more complicated, and the user experience isn't as good. I really liked the old app better.

    Latest update is really bad. Live tracking is not accurate at all. Sometimes the buses just don't come even when they show on the map, which made me late for work today. Also, I can't click on saved bus stops on my favorites list, which makes the list useless. This morning, I shared a ticket with my son, but he couldn't download it from the share link anymore. I never had these issues before the update. Please switch back to the previous version which was reliable and helpful.

    App was given zero stars and considered clunky and unintuitive. Very difficult to use unless you already know bus information. The app lacks essential details like bus stops, routes, and ticket options. Functionality is very poor. An edit in July 2023 stated that the situation had worsened, with timetables not showing up and the planner being useless. The only purpose seems to be locating bus stops.

    The app was doing great until the recent update messed up all my saved stops. But I discovered that if I delete and then re-add them, they start working fine again. 👍 The app is a bit rough around the edges and could use some improvements. It would be better if it reflected real-time bus stop info more accurately. Sometimes a bus appears as cancelled at the stop, but the app still shows it as coming until its scheduled time, and then it suddenly disappears. It would be more helpful if buses that aren't coming weren't displayed in the app as if they were.

    The app kept crashing when I tried to plan my journey. It was really annoying, so I had to use the website instead. But after updating the app in response to their reply, it seems to be working fine now. Thank you!
