TRADITIONAL GAME MODE:
The Traditional mode closely mirrors YAHTZEE's rules. Players have up to 3 rolls per turn across 13 turns in total. After each roll, select the dice you wish to keep and aim for maximum points by achieving at least 3 of a kind in each of the left scoring categories. Achieve a minimum of 63 points on the left side to earn a 35-point bonus. The right side includes scoring opportunities for 3 of a Kind, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Five Dice, and Chance. The first occurrence of Five Dice scores 50 points, with a 100-point bonus granted for each additional instance. A separate leaderboard is available for the Traditional mode.
SEQUENTIAL GAME MODE:
In Sequential mode, each score must be allocated in a designated order:
Left Side - from 1's up to 6's
Right Side - progressing from 3 of a Kind to Chance
Initially, all scoring categories are inactive and appear grayed out. Following the first roll of each turn, the suitable category for that turn activates and changes to white. Once the three rolls for that turn conclude, scores must be assigned to the active category. However, if a Five Dice is rolled, it can be scored there, allowing play to continue with the next turn in sequence. Additional instances of Five Dice yield a 100-point bonus, but scoring must still adhere to the set sequence. This mode also features its own leaderboard.
RUSSIAN ROULETTE GAME MODE:
This mode allows only one roll per turn, requiring you to assign a score immediately—this may even involve placing a zero in some categories. There's a tactical approach involved in maximizing your score—can you uncover it? Russian Roulette mode has its distinct leaderboard as well!
PLUS GAME MODE:
In Plus mode, any unused rolls from a turn are transferred to successive turns. Typically, a Five Dice game consists of 13 turns with 3 rolls each. In a Plus game, there are again 13 turns; however, if you don't utilize all 3 rolls in any given turn, the leftover rolls carry over to the subsequent turn. For example, should you use only 2 rolls during your first turn, you'll then enjoy 4 rolls in your second turn. If just 1 roll is used from those 4, the third turn provides 6 rolls... Plus mode maintains its unique leaderboard.
SCORING:
After each roll, valid scoring opportunities will be highlighted in yellow, making it easy to decide where to allocate your results. The placement of scores is at your discretion. Each game comprises thirteen turns featuring 3 rolls each. After rolling, you can select which dice to retain by tapping them, while the rest are carried into the next roll. At the conclusion of 3 rolls, the score must be assigned before proceeding to the next turn. The initial Five Dice grants 50 points, with subsequent occurrences rewarded with a 100-point bonus. Score 63 or more on the left side of the scorecard to receive a 35-point bonus.
Tips and Tricks:
- Try to score as many points as possible in the early rounds to increase your chances of getting the bonus points.
- Pay attention to your opponents’ scores to know which categories to focus on.
- It’s better to score a lower category than to leave yourself with no score at all.
- Keep track of your rolls and the scoring combinations to improve your strategic thinking skills.
