How do I Manage my Listing?

As a manager of your Foursquare listing, you can edit your listing's details, including:

Name

Address

Social Connections (Facebook, Twitter, Website) 

Phone # and website

Category

Hours of operation

To edit your listing info, get started by using Foursquare City Guide as your business, which will take you to your Manager Home page.

Once on this page, your first step is to select which locations you would like to edit.

How Can I Reset My Password?

If you've forgotten your password, don't worry! You can easily reset it by visiting foursquare.com/forgot_password. After entering your email address, we'll send you a link to reset your password.

Haven't Received the Reset Email?

If you haven't received the password reset email, here are a few things to consider:

Check Your Spam/Junk/Trash or Other Folders: Sometimes, our emails end up in one of these folders so be sure to look there.

Double-Check Your Email: Make sure you entered the correct email address when you signed up for Foursquare.

Verify Account Existence: It's possible that there's no account associated with the email address you provided.

Changing Your Password

To change your password without going through the reset process, simply visit foursquare.com/settings and click on "Change password."

Prompted to Reset Password?

For security purposes, if it's been a while since your last login, you may be prompted to reset your password when signing in. Don't worry; it's just an extra layer of protection! Here's what you need to do:

Follow the Prompt: If you see a message asking you to reset your password, select the "Email me a link" button.

Check Your Email: You'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.

Reset and Sign In: Once you've reset your password, you'll be automatically signed back in to your Foursquare account.

If you signed up with a phone number, you'll be prompted to text yourself a link to reset your password instead.

How to Update Location Information?

If you noticed that the venue page seems to have outdated information or someone made a mistake when adding them, don’t worry. You can be a constructive member of the Foursquare community and suggest edits on those pages with your Foursquare profile.

To edit any page please use the instructions below: 

Web Editing:

Click on "Suggest an Edit" under the place name.

A module will appear, allowing changes to the address, website, category, hours, place details, and more.

Please note that edits may not apply immediately for popular, claimed, or heavily-checked-in places. We value community input and want everyone to contribute. 

Edit through the City Guide mobile app:

Select a place.

Open more information in the upper right corner and scroll down.

Tap 'Suggest an Edit.'

You'll encounter the same editing options available on the web.

Report any venue problems, such as being “closed or out of business,” “having incorrect hours,” or “not being public.”

To report an issue with a place from the web, click on "Suggest an Edit" under the place name to bring out the following module. Then select "Problem with a place?" 

From here, you can let us know if the place is closed, inappropriate, a duplicate, a home, or should be marked private.

If you are on a mobile device, go to a place page and select 'More details'. Tap 'Edit' in the upper right-hand corner and you'll see the same options as on the web.

By following these simple steps, you become an essential part of maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on Foursquare. Your edits contribute to a reliable database that enhances the experience for the entire community.

To check this you will need to go to your device’s settings and check if there is any OS update available for you to install.

Please ensure that the app you are experiencing issues with is up to date. Our continuous efforts are aimed at providing a smooth experience for all consumers of our products and this often involves making some fixes and releasing app updates. The best way to have your app updated is to entirely delete it and all data cached with it and then download and install it again on your device. Remember, deleting the app will not delete your account with Foursquare, so there is nothing to worry about when doing this.
