G-SHOCK Connected - Watch tracking app

I'm still getting the hang of this Bluetooth Connected G-Shock after having it for about a week. It seems like I can tweak most of the settings through the app, which really simplifies things like adjusting World Time. Everything seems to be working fine for now, and I'm looking forward to discovering more features along the way.

This app is not good. It keeps giving errors and sometimes it doesn't work at all even though my watch is registered. I've tried everything like checking my phone settings and making sure the operating system is updated, but nothing helps. Even reinstalling the app doesn't fix the problems. Contacting the developers hasn't been useful either. This app is important for my watch to function properly, so it really needs to be more reliable.

The app used to be awesome, but now it doesn't sync with the date. The day of the week is always off by a day. Only thing Bluetooth gets right is the time. Trying to manually set it to all correct functions doesn't work because it goes back to the incorrect settings. This watch is too good to have a flawed app that's not working properly anymore.

This watch is fantastic for hiking and camping, with lots of settings and GPS data tracking. I really like this watch and the app that goes with it. Kudos to Casio Mudmaster for a job well done!

This app is asking for a lot of your personal information. You're using it with a Samsung S10+ and paired with GST-B400-1A. Why does it want to see your photos? Connecting the two devices was harder than expected. The app isn't very easy to use. It keeps reminding you to switch on Bluetooth. You just want to ensure the time is correct. Right now, you've turned it off. If the time is wrong, you'll turn it back on.

Registering the watch to the app is a hassle, it almost never works smoothly. I usually end up having to delete and reinstall the app on my phone. Even when the app and the watch are finally synced up, the steps don't seem to transfer to the app. The weekly or monthly totals never show up either. On the bright side, I do like the watch overall. It keeps time accurately and the step tracker on the watch itself functions well. Another advantage is that unlike other step trackers, this G Shock watch doesn't need frequent charging every few days.

Sure, in the past I've tried other apps that sync with the tracker automatically but this one is a bit more complex. You need to manually sync all data from the watch to your phone by pressing a button on the watch to connect via Bluetooth. I understand it's because it's a companion app for a specific device, but it can be a bit annoying to have to keep pressing the button just to track your steps. Apart from that, it's a pretty good app.

I recently got the GW-B5600BC-1BER watch and I absolutely adore it. The app syncs seamlessly with the watch, and what I really appreciate is that this watch doesn't have any fancy features that make it hard to use. I especially love the simple function that lets you save your current location along with the time just by pressing a button. I would be thrilled if the app could somehow link this feature to Google Maps or allow you to easily copy the location. This would come in handy, especially when parking in a busy city or when you want to save a location for future reference and use maps to navigate back to it later. It would truly be amazing!
