I've had an amazing time using Google Drive. The recent update introduces a fresh visual layout which initially felt a bit awkward (as most major changes do), but I believe the design team is heading in the right direction. Navigating my Drive has become much easier, even though I haven't fully grasped all its details yet.

Following the recent update, there has been a deterioration in the process of uploading files from Google Drive to Play Books. While attempting to upload files, it displays as uploading in Play Books, yet they fail to appear on the Play Books app. This issue seems to stem from Drive rather than Play Books. Despite diligently attempting troubleshooting steps like clearing cache, reinstalling both apps, and ensuring a stable network connection, the problem persists. It is truly frustrating. Urgently looking for a resolution from Google to rectify this glitch. If there was an option, my rating would be below zero stars.

Frozen during the uploading process, and restarting the app or updating it didn't resolve the issue. I then tried clearing the cache, but that didn't help either. Eventually, I decided to re-upload the files, and this time they appeared successfully. However, I noticed that the previous files that were stuck during the upload process suddenly disappeared after about 5 minutes. Because of this, I have updated my rating to 4 stars. It would be great to have a functional kill switch. In response to the previous suggestion, I didn't have to reinstall the app, but it was something I considered. The solution turned out to be waiting it out and re-uploading the files while they were stuck, which wasn't very intuitive.

Latest version no longer supports downloading .APK files from Google Drive pages. The functionality to download .apk files was working fine until recently. However, if I uninstall the current version and revert to the version that came pre-installed on my Pixel, I am able to download .apk files successfully. Unfortunately, the current release of Google Drive seems to have a problem with this feature. I have already filed a feedback report regarding this issue, and it is likely being addressed by the development team.

I have been a long-time user of Drive and, although it receives regular updates, I found it quite limited when it comes to working with PDFs as there were minimal features for editing, reading, signing, or annotating them. However, the recent introduction of the new edit mode has made things a bit more functional. I wanted to express my gratitude to the Team for this helpful update. Moving forward, I hope to see even more features added to enhance the PDF reading experience, even though it's not the primary focus of the platform. This would reduce the need for switching between different applications.

Since 2018, I've relied on this app for various benefits, notably the peace of mind and safety provided by Google Drive. However, over the past three months, I've encountered a recurring issue with uploading documents. Often, I need to repeatedly click on each document to ensure successful uploads, which consumes a lot of time. I kindly request the developer to address this upload problem promptly if feasible.

This is my initial experience with Google Drive, and I decided to give it a try after realizing that saving files on my SD card was not convenient. Fortunately, I haven't encountered any problems so far. Uploading my .pdf files was incredibly easy, and I was able to make them available offline and view them without an internet connection. The overall performance has been flawless. If I come across any issues in the future, I will make sure to report them to the developers.

Attempting to upload files larger than 3 gigabytes seems incredibly challenging, if not impossible in my experience. None of the attempts have successfully completed, leaving me skeptical about the feasibility. I'll likely opt for Microsoft products going forward.
