Google Podcasts - Listen & discover podcasts

I used Google Podcasts for a long time and liked it. Tried switching to YT Music, but it's terrible. I waste time trying to find my downloaded queue and the podcast stops when the screen times out. I listen while driving, so I need a simple interface like Google. Want to know what others suggest as a replacement for Google.

I really relied on Google Podcasts, so I'm sad it's going away. It's strange that Google is pushing everyone to YouTube Music when podcasts and music are different. Maybe they could have just made some changes instead. I think eventually YouTube Music or YouTube Standard might also have problems and end up being discontinued. The Google Podcasts App was great, especially with it integrated into Android Auto. I wonder what will happen to YouTube Standard.

Google removed their Podcast app and others, which is disappointing. I will miss it because I prefer using one intuitive and efficient app for podcasts. If I can't import my podcasts to Amazon Music, I won't listen to them anymore if I have to use a different app. Boo Google! 👎🏽

I tried different podcast apps, and this one is the most simple app. It's basic but effective at organizing my shows and tracking my listening time. Some reviews talk about a 'queue' feature, but I haven't found it necessary. The episodes play smoothly if you use the sorting options provided.

I almost gave it 5 stars, but can't review podcasts. Let's face it, many use Google podcasts as we lack iphones, where you can rate them. It should change. Tried different apps, settled on this for simplicity and great interface. It resumes where I stopped and doesn't auto-play in my car. A reliable app.

It's really annoying when the podcast controls are linked to your volume buttons and your screen is off. There have been too many times when I tried to turn up the volume, but accidentally skipped forward a lot instead. It should be something you can disable. I mean, seriously? I can't adjust the volume of my podcast when my phone is in my pocket?

I really like using Google Podcasts. It has helped me find podcasts that have completely changed my life. I enjoy how easy it is to use, and I appreciate getting notifications for new episodes. Managing the podcasts is simple too since you can skip or replay parts. It would be nice if there was a feature to leave feedback on episodes. Overall, the interface is beautiful and it's a fantastic app!

It was good. You don't have to pay to listen to podcasts with your screen off. I've been a YouTube premium subscriber for a while now. YouTube Music is not what I want for podcasts, it's bloated. The export to Music feature fails. It says "I have no subscriptions to import," even though the file has subscriptions in it.
