I used to rely on Google Pay a lot, but the new setup has made it so tricky to disable NFC. Before, you could simply turn it on and off right from the pull-down menu or in the app itself. Now, when you activate it from the Wallet, you need to navigate through about 3 layers of settings to switch it off. It's such a hassle! Until they make this easier again, I'll just stick to using physical credit cards instead.

It's such a hassle to have to approve every single payment, no matter how small it is, even when my phone was already unlocked. It used to be much simpler in the past. Now it's more convenient for someone to just take and utilize my cards without permission. I wish they could either revert it back or provide me with an option to select. However, now I'm rating this a 4 instead of a 2 because luckily I don't have to authorize payments twice at the moment.

Using the app was a breeze! It didn't take me long at all. All I had to do was unlock my phone, which I usually do whenever I turn it on, and then hold my phone near the card reader. The app did everything else for me. My advice would be to start with just a few payment methods in Google Pay. Begin with your main debit and credit cards. As you become more familiar with the process, you can always add more cards for payments later on.

I mainly use this for storing my passes and loyalty cards. The basic features work fine, but sometimes it scans the barcode incorrectly when it's a bit worn out. However, there's a big box on the main screen that keeps asking me to add payment cards, which is annoying because I can't get rid of it and it takes up a lot of space. Rearranging the order of my cards is really hard, as dragging them doesn't always move the other cards properly. It would be awesome to have the option to add a shortcut to a specific card on the home screen for quick access.

I really like this app a lot and use it all the time on my phone. So far, I haven't had any issues using my payment cards with it. One suggestion I have is to have separate pages for storing loyalty cards and transport passes. The only thing that bothers me is that when I add a boarding pass from a transportation company's app, it shows up at the top instead of in chronological order based on the date of travel.
