Frequently asked questions about the GWR app

How do I reserve a bike space on the app?

If bike reservations are possible on the service you wish to travel on, then you will be able to make a reservation on the Review Your Order screen when purchasing your ticket. 

Can I refund my tickets on the app?

Yes, refunds can be requested through the ‘My tickets’ section of the app.

How do I amend my ticket on the app?

If it’s possible to amend your ticket, then this can be done by viewing the ticket in the app wallet and selecting ‘Change ticket’. Then simply follow the step by step instructions.

Can I use the app outside the UK?

No, the app will only fully function if you are within the UK. However, our website GWR.com can be used outside of the UK to purchase tickets. Any e-tickets you have purchased through the website, will be available on the app once you are in the UK.

Are season tickets available to purchase on the app?

Yes, Weekly season and Flexi season tickets can be purchased on the app. However, Monthly, Annual and Custom (monthly plus) season tickets still need to be purchased on our website.
