The Greyhound app offers a convenient way to book affordable bus tickets with a variety of options. With the latest version of the free app, users can enjoy more features and bus trip choices at the same low fares. 

What many bus travelers want to know

1. Is my bus on time?

On time, early, or delayed, Track My Bus lets you know where your bus is with live updates and information. Search by your Booking Number or your Departure or Arrival location.

2. Can I book online, but pay with cash?

Yes! You can reserve online, pay with cash and pick up your ticket at a Walmart, 7-Eleven or another one of ourPaySafe partner locations. See how, and get more info on all your payment options here.

3. Are there rest stops along my trip?

Most buses stop every 2 hours so you can get out and stretch your legs, and maybe grab a quick snack. If you're a smoker, this is your time to light up, since our buses are all strictly non-smoking. Get more travel tips here.

4. How can I get an invoice for reimbursement?

You automatically receive an invoice for each booking. You can find it on Manage My Booking. If you need an invoice with an address on it, choose the “Add billing address” box while selecting the payment type during booking.

Choose where you will book

1. Online

Payment options: Debit/Credit card, cash or (NEW!) PayPal

Ticket options:

   - Buy online and show your ticket on your phone or print your ticket at home.

   - Reserve your ticket online via our website or mobile app and pay with cash at over 32,000 locations, now including Walmart, Family Dollar, Dollar General, CVS, 7-Eleven, Speedway, Kum & Go, Sunco, Kwik Trip, Sheetz, ICT Mester Brokers, GPM Investments, Stripes, Royal Farms, TA, Walgreens, Rutter's, Pilot, Go Mart, and S&G Management.

2. At the station

Payment options: Debit/Credit card, or cash (Different forms of payment cannot be combined)

Pay in person at the station:

   - You can buy and print your ticket at a self-service kiosk.

   - You can buy a ticket for travel the same day or take advantage of lower prices by buying your ticket in advance (although it still won't be as low as buying in advance online).

3. Other locations

Payment options: Debit/credit card or cash [!] Some locations may not take credit cards. (Different forms of payment cannot be combined)

Ticket options:

   - Buy your ticket at one of the thousands of independent agents (like convenience stores and gas stations) across the United States.

4. By phone

Payment options: Debit or credit card

Ticket options:

   - If you’re in the U.S., you can buy tickets over the phone using a debit or credit card.

   - Call us (toll-free) at 1-800-231-2222.

   - Pick your tickets up at the station.

   - Get your ticket by email and show that to the driver or print it at home.
