How to sign up for blocks:

Scheduling blocks allows you to create a flexible schedule to earn when you want without interrupting life. They also give you the opportunity to receive more orders and potentially higher earnings!

A few things to remember about scheduling blocks:

- When you schedule a block, you’re claiming that block for yourself so be sure to only pick up blocks you know you can work.

- If you realize you’re unable to work a block that you’ve scheduled, drop it as soon as possible to allow other drivers in your market to pick it up. When you wait until the last minute to edit or drop your block, you take earning opportunities away from your fellow drivers.

- If you regularly drop blocks within 72 hours of your block start time, we may restrict your access to scheduling.

Below are a few steps to take in order to schedule yourself a block. You can also check out scheduling in action by watching this tutorial.

Step 1: Log into the Grubhub for Drivers app and tap on “Scheduling” in the menu

Step 2: Click Update schedule

Step 3: Select a time

Please note:

- Available blocks will appear with a + symbol next to them

- By tapping on the +, name, or time of an available block, it will be added to your schedule

It happens every time I try to use the app. It just freezes on the log in screen and won't let me in. This new version is really bad. Many others seem to be facing issues with it too. Please, solve this problem! Why can't the app move past the orange GrubHub screen? And now, when there's a notification sound, the visual alert stays for too long on the screen. By the time you hear the notification sound, the offer is already gone! Plus, you face penalties for missing out on offers!

The programming for the audio alert on the order is bad. It comes in so late that you might miss out on the order completely, as if it never appeared on your screen. To avoid missing orders, you have to watch the screen constantly. If you miss three in a row, you'll be locked out. This becomes a bigger issue if you're already driving, as it leads to distracted driving and could result in getting a ticket.

Ok, so I've been getting a lot of offers recently, which is pretty cool. But the thing is, they're not even giving me 5 seconds to decide whether I wanna take them or pass on them. Whatever happened to having 90 seconds to make up my mind? And to make matters worse, I'm getting penalized for their system messing up. It's not fair how they're treating us drivers. Lately, they've been cutting off my session while I'm in the middle of working. Like, seriously? It says right there that I'm actively taking orders, and they still shut me down. It's just ridiculous!

Something strange happened with the app recently. When I tried to navigate to a specific order for pick up and drop off, instead of opening the map, it kept redirecting me to the Uber app on my phone. I tried again a few times, but it happened every time. To fix this, I had to uninstall the Uber app from my phone, even though I don't really use it. Now the app works fine again.

The service is awesome, but the app has a couple of bugs. It logs me out without warning, messing up my work schedule. Sometimes, the location is off and says I'm in the wrong region. Even with good 4G, the app fails to connect to its servers. Missing offers, wasting time on tasks, or messing up my program level is due to these issues.

Here's the latest: The app has been kicking me out while delivering orders, and it's a real hassle to log back in – usually takes about 8-9 attempts. It's quite frustrating. Since the recent update, the app keeps losing connection unexpectedly, and somehow it's affecting my deliveries and data. Plus, every time I get an order, the app displays a pickup time roughly 2 minutes after the order comes in but I always end up waiting at least 10 minutes at the restaurant.

The new update is taking up a lot of time. Our tasks are now at the bottom of the screen, so we have to swipe up and tap on navigate instead of just getting the order on the screen. Personally, I constantly receive a message saying "you're almost there. You accepted an order..." with all this navigating in the app now, I guess I'll be getting these messages more often. Those at GrubHub who have never done an order, should read the reviews and switch the app back.

Most courier service apps operate smoothly most of the time, but this one just doesn't cut it. It's basically a bad app overall. It promotes dangerous driving behavior by making you open too many screens just to get something done. It struggles with managing multiple orders and completely ignores traffic conditions. I've tried everything suggested to fix it, but nothing works. It's slow and unreliable.

Hey drivers! Just a heads up for you all out there. If you're not catching the sound of your alert cowbell, don't worry; it's not a regular notification sound. It's actually a multimedia sound coming from the app. To make sure you hear it loud and clear, crank up your media volume for things like videos and GPS audio. That way, you won't miss out on any offers that come your way. Happy driving!

Oh man, this app is all over the place! It used to be so good last year. The swipe-up feature is risky for drivers and it keeps crashing back down. Plus, it doesn't track your location properly when you're in a busy area. They should let us know if they're actually pinpointing our location accurately, so we're not just waiting around missing out on job offers. And don't get me started on the offer map - it's a nightmare to navigate. By the time you locate everything, it's already gone! We need clear instructions on where to pick up and drop off customers. Sometimes I confirm a job, only to find out later that it got lost in the system. It's frustrating beyond words! 😡
