HEOS - Smart music streaming

Exciting news! The app navigation has been enhanced and the Amazon Music custom playlist feature has seen significant improvements. It's wonderful to see such progress being made. Some suggestions for features include allowing songs to play continuously in a custom Amazon playlist, ensuring they don't stop after just one track. Additionally, adding a "recents" section to Pandora would be helpful. It would also be great to have the ability to edit the names of favorite stations. Lastly, having volume controls accessible in the quick pull-down menu would be a convenient addition. Keep up the fantastic work!

Ugh, this app is just the worst! It's so frustrating to use. Always losing connection and it's not my wifi's fault, it's top-notch with wifi 6! And why can't I shuffle songs from my own library? Why do I have to make a playlist or choose songs every time I open the app? It's such a hassle. I really can't stand this app.

I am not entirely sure what people anticipate. This application allows me to select music from either my server or Tidal. It is user-friendly and efficient. Regarding whether it is comparable to Roon, I cannot say since Roon is priced at $500. I find it perplexing when individuals criticize this app. The sole issue I encounter is occasional disconnection with my tablet. This might be due to hardware or software issues. Transitioning to an Android device that sustains a stable connection could potentially resolve this. Nevertheless, the occurrence is infrequent and the resolution is not overly complicated to merit a deduction in rating.

I'm disappointed with my Denon device because the app is so terrible. You have to find and play music using this app instead of your usual one, but the search function is really bad. It's super difficult to find a song. You usually have to look up the artist, go through a bunch of other less-known artists, then find the right album and select the song. If you don't know which album the song is on, tough luck!

I give it 3.5 stars overall. It's okay, but it has its downsides. The device could work better if it had the Qobuz app since it's a better and cheaper HD music streaming service. The Amazon app doesn't let you access your own library or playlists. It could be more user-friendly. It'd be nice if I could mark a station as a favorite without having to go back in the menu. It would also be good if all my services were set up on one home page instead of having all channels in favorites. Sometimes it logs you out unexpectedly.

You've got a lot of songs on your phone that you bought and added. When you go to play them, the app gives an error message like "can't stream from Amazon Music right now" or "can't play". You're not trying to stream, just play the songs you already have on your phone. Only one song seems to work on the app.

The recent updates have definitely improved the stability of the app. But unfortunately, the latest one has led to a rather frustrating issue where the volume automatically drops to zero whenever I attempt to lower it via the app. Previously, I rarely felt the urge to write reviews, but this app has been so close to being completely useless. My speakers tend to vanish frequently, and on top of that, sometimes they don't reappear, which adds an unnecessarily lengthy process. Meanwhile, my friends with Sonos speakers, despite the difference in sound quality, find humor in our app constantly malfunctioning. Essentially, we've ended up with some very expensive decorations around the house.
