Advanced Strategies to Dominate the Game

Hang on to Gold and Soul Stones

You’ll go through the first power spike in the game’s difficulty as soon as chapter 2.1. One of the first things you’ll think about (and the game will direct you to do so) is to improve your current heroes’ skills. Although this is not bad in and of itself, there are a couple of criteria you should consider before upgrading a unit’s skills.

Hero Wars

For one, you’d better go ahead and check out our updated Hero Wars tier list because this will give you a good idea of what characters are worth investing in. Don’t stray from the list. The list is sacred. The second aspect you should keep in mind is that gold is incredibly scarce in HW. As such, you want to spend it very wisely. The best way to do so when upgrading your heroes’ skills is to start with those abilities that are level-dependent.

Hero Wars

Aurora’s Crystalline Onslaught, Thea’s Vow of Silence, or Phobos’ Trembling Hands are just some of the most illustrative examples where the level of the ability can make a world of difference. Ideally, you also want to spend your gold liberally when experience potions come up in the tower merchant. This will help you keep your main line-up levelled and ship-shape.

Hero Wars

The same is true for hero Soul Stones. Don’t just sell these indiscriminately. Even if you don’t use a hero right now, there is still a chance they’ll become useful later on in the game. Yes, there’s a short-term gold profit to be had, but the value exchange is generally not worth it. If there’s one thing that’s harder to get than gold in HW, that’s Soul Stones.

Pay Close Attention to Composition and Synergies

A balanced team is often the key to consistently beating the game, as well as other players. In the off-chance that you don’t want to go with a dual support no healer set-up, it’s important that you have a character entirely dedicated to healing and another that helps you mitigate incoming damage. Initially, it’s a good idea to use both Galahad and Asteroth in the same line-up. However, as you get more characters, this pairing becomes highly redundant.

Hero Wars

What you want to do is replace either of the two with a support, healer, or damage dealer, depending on what you think might best benefit your line-up at this time. More often than not, a DPS will be required. As such, you should make sure that the unit you chose to complete your team can synergize with the rest of the members. If you have a physical-based tank, a physical DPS will complement them neatly, while the same is true for magical characters.

So, the game has crashed a few times on me, which was annoying. At one point, it showed that I would get a certain character, but when I reloaded the game, I actually got a different one. Despite these glitches, I still find the game really cute and fun to play. Fast forward a few weeks, and my opinion has changed a bit. I still think the game is adorable and addictive, but I'm disappointed because the advertisements for the game are misleading. They make it look like an adventure game, which it's not. It's kind of a letdown compared to what I was expecting.

I had such a blast playing this game! I totally dig the detailed faction breakdowns, but I am totally hooked on those puzzle levels. They're just way too short though – I always want more! :) Oh, and an update on my progress: I got a bit carried away and ended up splurging some cash in the game. And now I realized that it's pretty much the only way to level up your characters past the purple ranks - like, really feelin' bummed out about it. Especially since the puzzle and tower challenges that were supposed to be a big deal feel like they've been put on the back burner. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this unless you're ready to drop serious dough once you reach higher levels.

I really enjoy playing this game, no doubt about it. It's super fun except for the occasional crash it has. But let me tell you, the advertisements for it are just unbearable. Whenever one of those ads pop up, no matter what I'm doing on my device, bam! It crashes instantly. It freezes, gets all slow and sluggish, and eventually restarts. And it doesn't matter if I'm using an old or a new device, it happens every time. Now when it comes to actually playing the game itself, that's a whole different story. I have it installed on one of my devices and it runs smoothly most of the time. Sure, it might crash here and there, but overall it's a great experience.

So, basically, in order to progress and develop in this game, you need to be prepared to spend money constantly. It's like a cycle of spending money, then seeing more ads, and then spending more money. Nothing has really changed, it's still a "pay and play" type of game. The improvements are minimal, with about one third of the ads needing to be viewed twice before receiving any rewards. The advertisements can be overwhelming and frustrating. Often, you'll have to watch the same ad multiple times just to access certain features like opening boxes. On the plus side, there is a bonus of two movie tickets given once a week as a reward for dealing with all these ads.

So, the game started off with some puzzle ads which caught my attention. I found the gameplay to be really enjoyable and awesome! There are so many interesting heroes with unique abilities, great graphics, various stats to improve, skills to master, and lots of quests to keep me engaged. I also liked the element of leveling up, engaging in PvP battles against other players or computer opponents, joining guilds, and discovering new content. However, one thing that really bugs me is the drop rate of items - it can get really frustrating at times. I feel like the game would be much more enjoyable if the drop rates were increased slightly. Additionally, I wish there were more shortcuts on the interface to navigate back to the main page, manage characters, and access inventory easily. I did notice that this is a pay-to-advance kind of game, where you need to make some in-game purchases to progress faster. While some prices seem reasonable, others are just crazy expensive. I have already spent around $20 to $25 in the past 2 months, and I have a feeling that I might hit a point where I have to stop playing because of the difficulty in progressing without spending more money.

I've been playing this game for 10 months now, and it's honestly been a blast... until about 6 weeks ago. Things took a turn when the developers decided to mess around with the prices and completely overhaul a major feature in the game. These changes made it really tough for players who prefer to spend just a little bit on the game. It got so bad that my best friend actually quit playing, and almost everyone on my server is complaining about these new updates. I've been one of the top 3 spenders and most powerful players throughout my time in the game, so people might call me a whale, but not a huge one. However, with the way things are now, there isn't much incentive to keep playing unless you're ready to drop some serious cash.

So, I've been playing this game for over 2 months now, and to be honest, it's been pretty decent so far. But recently, it keeps shutting down unexpectedly. It's really annoying because it happens after watching ads or during battles, and I'm getting really frustrated with it. Another thing is that I initially downloaded the game to play the math stage, but now that I've completed it, there haven't been any new updates for it. Moreover, I find the battle scaling to be quite unfair. I always seem to end up fighting against opponents who are much stronger than me, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating. If this issue continues, I am seriously considering uninstalling the game soon.

Oh, I've been hooked on this game for the past four months, but now I'm feeling a bit bummed about it. It's like they want you to pay-to-win all the time, and every time there's a new event, it just seems to be getting more and more intense. It's so frustrating because most of the cool rewards are just inaccessible without shelling out some serious cash. This latest event called Hero Ways is honestly the pits - all the really great stuff is basically out of reach unless you're willing to drop loads of money on it. If they keep up with these kinds of events, it might just be the final straw for the game.

So, I found this game that looked really cool in the ad, but when I started playing, it was so misleading! It claimed you'd see awesome screens like in the ad, but nope, nothing like that at all. And as you progress in the game, they start charging you for everything. You need so many upgrade items to advance in the game, and it's insane! You either have to buy these items or try to win them in battles. But winning them is tough because the drop rate is ridiculously low. For just one upgrade, I needed over 200 items, and only got one item per 10 battles, each battle eating up 8 energy. It takes forever to make progress because there are tons of upgrades, and they all come with a hefty price tag.
