HiOS Launcher is an easy-to-use launcher designed to give you a unique and different Android experience. HiOS Launcher - Fast is a free personalization application for mobile developed by Transsion Holdings. It is a custom app launcher and home screen replacement app based on the HiOS operating system feature on devices made by Tecno Mobile. It lets users experience it first-hand without having a Tecno-branded device.

Tecno's take on a home screen

Designed to be customizable, HiOS Launcher becomes the default home screen experience built into HiOS. The Zero Screen is a dedicated page feed for news. You can check out the Smart Scene section to listen to new trending songs, while the Discovery tab is where to find games and wallpapers.

Other personalization options include themes, custom fonts, and transition effects, letting you customize the look of your home screen. One area where the app needs more work, though, is with performance optimizations. Using it often leads to random lag and stutters which might put off some users.

Good and customizable

    Oh no! After the automatic update, my Gmail, SMS, and Google apps stopped working. It all started when I kept getting messages about HiOS launcher not working. So, I removed that option. Despite uninstalling all launcher updates, my other apps are still not functioning. It's really frustrating! Now, an additional issue has cropped up - my Touchpal keyboard froze in all applications. I couldn't text anywhere, so I had to uninstall it and resort to using the default Android keyboard. Any ideas on how to fix these issues?

    Oh man, the new operating system released in 2020 is really not user-friendly for developers. They changed commands into gestures which is hard to get used to. Like, now you have to swipe in two different places just to do what you could do with one swipe before. It's confusing, especially in the notification area at the top. The launcher should stick to the old features sometimes, because newer isn't always better.

    I updated my launcher, Lawnchair, and boy did I see a lot of issues! The transitions and animations got all wonky, making everything hang and stutter. Plus, when I closed an app, the homepage took forever to refresh. I realized it was because of the HiOs update I finally installed. After a bit of a delay, I uninstalled all those updates and now everything's back to normal. Ugh, HiOs really messed things up this time! 😤😤

    The HiOS launcher is fantastic! Although sometimes it has an issue with turning on and off along with the display on my home screen. But hey, no app is flawless, right? It's these little imperfections that make it perfect in its own way. So, keep up the good work!

    Using Hios launcher is truly a wonderful experience. I really enjoy its beautiful fonts, interface, and the way it organizes apps. The most used apps setting is particularly helpful. It's really well-designed and deserves praise. Many congratulations to the developers, and a big thank you to TECNO for selecting it as the default launcher.     The recent update is definitely not well-received. The home screen has been changed to simply launch apps, which is too basic for most users. There is a news tab that's always present even if you don't need it. On top of that, they added a search bar that always runs in the background, using up data to provide predictions. Not everyone wants to be directed on what to search for, and this feature seems unnecessary. I wish I could remove this launcher from my phone forever. The 2018 update really wasn't well thought out, and it even affects the performance of other apps like the Play Store. Very frustrating!
