To be the first to follow current events, news from your neighborhood, the most amazing videos, and the most fun games? You choose. With the updated menu of the HLN app, you can easily navigate between 'News', 'Local News', 'Video', and 'Puzzle'.

At the top of the app, with one click, you can access the most recent articles and videos, Sports, Showbiz, Nina, Bizarre, Money, Food, Tech, Mobility, Home, Travel, or Science news. And with important news, you will be the first to know through free push notifications.

Useful to know

The HLN app is free to download. You need a subscription to read HLN+ articles. To read unlimitedly, you can purchase an HLN Mobile monthly subscription in the app or website. This subscription costs €7.99 per month.

What is a DPG Media account?

With a DPG Media account, you can log in to the websites and apps of all DPG Media brands, such as De Morgen and HLN. You can also log in to our magazines such as Humo, Dag Allemaal and Story.

When you log in, you get access to certain extras or features. These vary by brand.

Which DPG Media websites and apps can I log in to with my account?

All DPG Media brands have a website and some also have an app.

Why can I use my account on up to 5 web browsers and/or devices with apps?

We've set this maximum to prevent multiple people from using a single account. An account is personal and not meant to be shared. We have laid this down in our subscription terms and conditions (which can be downloaded from the homepage) and in our terms of use.

How do I create an account and link my subscription?

You can create an account via this app by entering your email address and a new password.

You can then link your subscription via this app.

Fill in your subscription details and link your subscription to your account to activate your digital access and easily manage your subscription yourself.

How can I subscribe and unsubscribe to newsletters?

You can subscribe to various newsletters via this app.

You can unsubscribe by clicking on 'Unsubscribe' at the bottom of the newsletter.

How do I read digitally?

With your subscription, you have access to all online articles on the site or in the news app.

With a digital, Saturday + digital, long weekend or complete subscription, you also have access to the Digital Newspaper. The Digital Newspaper has the familiar layout of the paper newspaper.

To gain access to our digital products, you must have an online DPG Media account that is linked to your subscription. Log in here to check if you already have an account. If your email address is not recognized, you do not yet have an account. You can then create an account in the next steps.

If you have an account, you can see if your subscription is linked to your account here. If your subscription is not yet listed here, you can link it here. To link your subscription, you will need your subscription number. You will always find this in the description of a recent payment. Your subscription number starts with an A and is followed by 10 digits.

To verify that you are the subscription holder, we will ask you for the payment method and the last four digits of your bank account / credit card with which you pay in the next step.

Once your account has been created and your subscription is linked, you can log in to our site and apps with your email address and password via the login button. You can now successfully use our digital products.
