Intriduction:

Hole.io is a fast-paced multiplayer online competitive casual game developed by the French game studio Voodoo. Since its launch in 2018, it has gained a large number of fans worldwide. It skillfully combines strategy, action and competitive elements, and attracts players of all ages with its unique gameplay, various modes and convenient experience.

How to play:

Players control a black hole to move through cities or other themed maps, and keep growing by devouring various objects. At the beginning of the game, the black hole is small and can only swallow small objects such as street lamps, bushes, and pedestrians. As it continues to devour, the black hole gradually grows larger, and then can swallow cars, trees, even buildings and small black holes controlled by other players. The game is usually time-limited, and the player who grows into the largest black hole within the specified time wins; in the deathmatch mode, the last surviving black hole player wins.   

Game Modes

1 Classic Mode: Players need to make their black hole as large as possible within 2 minutes to get the highest score, which depends on the number and size of the objects devoured.

2 Single Player Mode: Players play alone without interference from other opponents. The goal is to break their own best record, focusing on personal growth and challenges.

3 Battle Royale Mode: All players compete against each other until only one black hole remains on the field. The player who survives to the end wins.

4 Team Mode: Players form teams to collaborate and compete with other teams. Through teamwork, they devour objects, defeat opponents, strive to occupy the map, and make their team dominant.

1 Simple and easy-to-learn controls: Supports multiple operation methods, such as keyboard arrow keys, WASD keys, and also allows controlling the black hole's movement by dragging the mouse or sliding on the touchscreen. Tips, Tricks & Hints

1. Get A Good Start

A common mistake new players make is to play aggressively while they are still small. While it is possible to eat another hole early in the game, going after other players before you have eaten enough will most likely get you killed. Don’t follow the other players because they will be able to eat the food before you. Instead, look for areas where there are no other holes running about. Once you find a good spot to eat alone, the next step is choosing what to eat.

2. Use Your Time Wisely 

The best way to win is to get bigger before the other players have the chance to do the same. To achieve this, you must use your time wisely. Don’t just target the first objects you see. Look for clusters of small objects and work your way towards bigger ones. You need to be able to eat up multiple objects at once in order to increase your size rapidly. Don’t bother with trees and streetlights because they take up too much time to consume.

3. The Ad Route 

At the beginning of the game, you will be given an offer to watch a video advertisement in exchange for a bigger starting hole. That means you will be able to gobble up the other starting players without having to farm first. If you choose to accept this offer, you can go ahead and skip out earlier advice about not being aggressive. Take advantage of your initial boost in size and go after as many little ones as you can before they have the chance to get any bigger. 

4. Big Buildings Make Big Holes 

After one trip to the park, you should be big enough to consume small buildings. Look for building clusters and eat them all up until you can take on bigger buildings. You should be able to eat buildings after the 100-point mark. Buildings are the best ways to grow bigger without eating other players. Large buildings give you 10 points apiece, allowing you to earn some serious points in the metropolis.

If you are having trouble eating big buildings because you keep moving around them, that means you are moving a little too fast. When the hole isn’t big enough to eat buildings in one go, it tends to move around them. The trick is to move slowly, so the hole will slowly consume the building. Keep doing this until you are big enough to move a little faster.
