Why does my purchase not appear in the "Purchase History"?

We currently do not store transactions from cinemas other than MCL and Koi Seng in the "Purchase History". If you have any questions or inquiries about these transactions, please contact the respective cinema directly.

What should I do if I did not receive a confirmation message after payment?

If you purchased tickets for MCL and Koi Seng cinemas through the Hong Kong Movie app, the confirmation message is issued by MCL and Koi Seng via Hong Kong Movie. Please contact Hong Kong Movie for inquiries.

If you purchased tickets from a cinema other than MCL and Koi Seng, or through the website, the confirmation message is provided by the respective cinema. Please contact the cinema directly.

How do I collect my purchased tickets?

After completing the transaction, please remember to bring the credit card used for payment to the cinema’s ticket counter to collect your tickets.

If you purchased tickets for MCL and Koi Seng cinemas through the Hong Kong Movie app, you can directly present the QR code from the "Purchase History" in the app to enter the cinema.

What should I do if I purchased the wrong ticket?

Since the entire payment process is conducted on the cinema’s website (including MCL and Koi Seng), you cannot cancel or exchange the ticket once you press "Confirm Payment". Therefore, please review the ticket details carefully before confirming. If you have any concerns about the transaction, please contact the cinema.

How can I become a member?

You can sign up as a member using Facebook or Google. Once registered, you can use the same account to log into Hong Kong Movie on other platforms. You can also use "Sign in with Apple" on iOS devices, but this account can only be used on iOS devices. After becoming a member, you can bookmark movies, create movie lists, and select cinemas.

Can I log in using email?

Email login has been removed in this version. If your previous Hong Kong Movie account used email login, please transfer your account to a social media login as follows:

Log in to the new Hong Kong Movie account using Facebook or Google.

Contact support@hkmovie6.com and provide details of both the new and old accounts.

After the transfer is complete, we will notify you, and you can use the new account to log in to Hong Kong Movie.

How to join/renew Koi Seng membership?

To join Koi Seng membership, try the following steps:

Ensure your Hong Kong Movie app is up-to-date.

Go to the "Cinemas" page and select "Koi Seng Cinema".

Click "Join Koi Seng Cinema Membership Now to Enjoy Benefits!" or "Renew Koi Seng Cinema Membership".

Click "Join Now".

Enter your personal details and payment information.

If you still cannot renew your membership after following these steps, please contact us. Thank you.

What if my Koi Seng membership information does not appear after joining?

Since we provide login options like Apple, Facebook, and Google accounts, if you joined Koi Seng membership using Apple and then logged out, you will not see your membership information when logging in with Facebook. Please log out and log in again with your Apple account.

How can I write a movie review?

To ensure reviews are written by genuine users, new members must complete SMS verification before writing a review. If you have not completed SMS verification, you will be redirected to the SMS verification page when you try to write a review in the mobile app. Please follow the instructions to complete the verification.

Please note:

The phone number must be a Hong Kong local (+852) number.

Each user can only request the verification code up to 3 times per day.

Each verification code can be used up to 5 times.

The phone number must not be previously registered.

Once a phone number is registered, it cannot be changed.

How to participate in giveaways?

To ensure fairness, participants must complete SMS verification and provide a real name for identity verification when claiming the prize. When you click "Participate in Event" in the mobile app, if you have not provided your name, you will be redirected to the name input page. If you have not completed SMS verification, you will be asked to enter your phone number to complete SMS verification.

Once a name is registered, it cannot be changed.
