Selected devices can now back up to network-attached storage (NAS) and Huawei Back-up. You can also make automatic backups to NAS, Huawei Back-up, and memory cards now.

How to install Huawei Backup on your Android device:

Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to Google Play.

Once the Huawei Backup is shown in the Google Play listing of your Android device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the Install button located below the search bar and to the right of the app icon.

A pop-up window with the permissions required by Huawei Backup will be shown. Click on Accept to continue the process.

Huawei Backup will be downloaded onto your device, displaying a progress. Once the download completes, the installation will start and you'll get a notification after the installation is finished.

    So, like, after the update, I couldn't find the app on my phone. And when I checked Google Play Store, all I saw was an uninstall button, no option to actually open it. It was working just fine before this update. Now I'm feeling super frustrated because I don't know how to use the app if I can't even open it. What should I do now?

    If I could give it a 0 rating, I definitely would. Their backup system was lacking, as it only saved the camera photos and videos from the phone. Other photos on the phone were not included. Sadly, I can't recover those important photos anymore because I reset the phone thinking they had been copied and backed up successfully. Please avoid using Huawei's cloud service, it's just not helpful at all.

    I used to really like this app - it was simple and reliable. However, it has been disappointing me lately. First, I would like them to reintroduce the feature that allows backing up without encryption. This way, even if I don't have a Huawei device or the app, I can still access some of my data. Secondly, I hope they bring back the desktop icon. It's frustrating having to search for the backup app within the settings every time.

    Hey there, so I had this issue where I couldn't back up my phone after updating HiSuite. It keeps telling me to update the backup from the Play Store, but I already have the latest version installed. It's frustrating because many others seem to be facing the same problem with no response from Huawei. I'm using a Huawei Mate S with EMUI 3.1 and Android 5.1.1. Now I'm looking to buy a new phone, but I can't back up my data, which is really a bummer.

    I'm having trouble stopping the upload of photos and selecting which content to back up. I keep getting a message saying my storage is full and I have to pay for an upgrade. My pictures are already saved on Google, so this app is totally pointless at the moment. This might be my final Huawei phone since there are several irritating problems that haven't been fixed.
