Hue Light App Remote Control - Lights control & automation

The thing didn't work right. Ads everywhere. Also, tried to make me download another app for no reason.

In my home, I have smart devices from various brands. One of them is a Phillips app that pairs with my hue smart bulb, but it's honestly the worst. When using the app, the navigation is just terrible. Every time you try to choose something, there are these annoying pop-up ads and misleading offers popping up. Plus, there aren't many instructions available to help you out. And most disappointingly, the light doesn't connect to my Echo device like it claims to. I had higher hopes for Phillips, but it seems they let me down this time.

This app is terrible! It bombards me with ads every time I do something. I'm done with it. I'll just use the light bulb like a regular bulb. Philips, you've lost me for good.

It's really frustrating to see so many ads for something I already bought. I feel like I shouldn't have to deal with all these irrelevant ads when I've already purchased the product in good faith.

The app is almost impossible to use. Every other tap triggers a long ad unless you subscribe monthly. It's simpler to just flick the light switch! A recent update made things worse. The developers justify the ads by saying they need money from them to support the free app. But I already paid for the app when I purchased the bulb. They shouldn't be squeezing money out of their customers like this.

Oh man, what a disaster! I am so done with Philips Hue products forever. Ads just keep popping up, adding lights is a nightmare...and those ads, ugh! Seriously, you have to experience it to believe it. Forget about the benefits of smart lights—I'm uninstalling the app and getting a dimmer switch. This has got to be the biggest waste of time and money ever.

I just installed my first light bulb and they wanted a review right away. The app kept asking me to subscribe multiple times. I don't think you can add more bulbs without subscribing. I didn't have much time to test it out. I might return the product to the store. There seem to be other apps that can control these lights. I will try a different one next time.

Advertisements are all over the place. You can't even click on a button without seeing an ad. They're not helpful at all.

This product is terrible! It has no customization options, it's really complicated, and there are constant attempts to sell you more stuff. I can't believe a well-known company would endorse such low-quality products. Just go for the cheaper options on Amazon instead.

So, I downloaded this app to connect my Philips Hue lights via Bluetooth. But then the app wanted me to pay for 'extra' features if I wanted to do more. The free version didn't let you do much at all. It was kind of a sneaky move as it's the first one you see when you search for 'Philips Hue Bluetooth'. My suggestion is to skip this one and just get the official 'Philips Hue' app. It works with Bluetooth as well.
