Why ICI TOU. Is TV EXTRA paid when this service is owned by Radio-Canada?

By law and since its creation, Radio-Canada receives mixed funding: about 60% public funds and 40% self-generated revenues. These include advertising revenues, but also revenues from subscriptions to our specialty channels (ICI RDI, ICI ARTV and ICI EXPLORA) and ICI TOU. EXTRA TV. The ICI TOU. TV, in the same way as ICI ARTV or ICI RDI, is viable precisely because of the subscriptions it generates. It is therefore normal that some content is intended primarily for ICI TOU subscribers. For the rest, the catch-up periods vary according to each show, but are generally 30 days after the TV broadcast.
