How to Use

1. How can I start my identification process?

Just use the link that you receive to start the process, or enter the Ident-ID in our app.

You can download the app for iOS over the Apple App Store, and for Android over the Google Play Store or the Huawei App Gallery.

2. I receive an error message when trying to start my identification process, what now? 

If you are using our app, first close it and try again. If that doesn't help, try uninstalling and then re-installing it. When you are using a browser, clear the history before trying again.

3. How do I know if my identification was successful?

You will see a screen confirming the successful completion at the end of the process. We will also notify our partner, and they'll get in touch with you. Please contact them if you have any questions.

4. What can I do if my Ident-ID doesn't work?

If you are sure that the Ident-ID is correct, then either you already completed the identification successfully or it expired.

These codes are unique to each transaction, so you will need to contact our partner that issued you the Ident-ID to receive a new one if it has expired.

    Terrible app! They make you input your phone number and to select the country code, you have to search for the flag. What a mess! Why can't you just enter the 2-3 digits? And you have to scroll through all the flags! Even if you manage to find the right one, who knows if it won't change while you're typing your number.

    I have used this before and it worked wonderfully every time. It was very easy for me, no problems at all. I really want to be able to use it with more people, so I have been trying my best to make that happen.

    The expert was really good, but the service wasn't great. Complained about the internet connection on the app and had to wait for an expert for over 15 minutes. The whole process took more than an hour, which was not ideal. Then, when trying to send this review in the app, it failed and said the verification didn't work, even though the expert confirmed it went through smoothly. Although I did get the documents signed, the app's user experience and final message were very confusing.

    The surface is really smooth. The person in charge was so kind and patient. It was a fantastic beginning for the first time using it. Thumbs up!

    The wait time is unknown when calling for assistance. The phone's battery drains quickly because the screen and camera stay on during the wait. I suggest keeping the phone plugged in to avoid a dead battery once you connect. When I tried to confirm my identity with video, it was too slow. Even though the app showed I had a strong connection (I have fast and stable internet with fiber optic technology), they blamed my connection. They insisted they hadn't encountered problems with other customers, which didn't seem like a helpful assessment. If you face long waits, restarting may be your only choice, hoping the app works properly. It would be better if they provided estimates for wait times, offered a quicker reconnect option after restarting, and trained staff to not blame customers and show empathy if things go wrong. On my second attempt, I had to wait 45 minutes and experienced audio issues like speeded up voice and laggy video. But the representative was professional and courteous.

    It was a terrible user experience in every way imaginable. Let me start with the app - it kept crashing and made my phone get so hot. I had to endure waiting times up to 30 minutes, which tested my patience to the limit. The service executives were incredibly rude. The first one hung up on me abruptly and couldn't verify my details. The second one's video froze (unluckily, I got connected to him twice), and that was the end of it. Thanks for absolutely nothing, IDNow.

    The picture came out really dark, so the expert who checks it promptly rejected me. My camera is fine. When the call connected, I couldn't hear the other person at first, making him upset. This app is a good concept but needs some fine-tuning.

    So, the first time I called, there was a lot of trouble with the line. The operator didn't even introduce themselves, and there was no option to pick a language other than English. The call kept cutting out, and then suddenly the operator just hung up on me. I tried again later, and this time it went smoothly. But now, it's been a whole week and I still don't know if everything is okay. My wife needs to also sign the document, but she can't do the ID verification because it's waiting for the other person to finish. I'm not even sure if they're talking about me or not.
