Whether you're at home or in-store, we have thousands of references to give you the best details of what your cosmetics contain (or those you plan to buy).

INCI Beauty allows you to:

• Discover the detailed composition of a product by scanning its barcode or searching for it using its name or brand. It is not in our database yet? Create a user account to add product photos and ingredients to receive analysis of its composition.

• Find a cleaner alternative to products whose rating does not satisfy you.

• Watch the offers of different merchants to buy the product you like.

• Fill in your restrictions to exclude a family of unwanted ingredients.

• View your search history and tag products as favorites to find them more easily when you make future purchases.

• Share your opinion with the community with the Like/Dislike button or by writing a comment.

With your user account, you can:

• Choose your avatar, add a bio, indicate your Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter profiles.

• See the products you've added comments on.

• Follow users and view their comments.

How are ratings calculated?

Each component is rated according to its level of danger or its potentially undesirable effects on humans and nature... All this thanks to a color code, symbolized by a flower, ranging from green to red.

At the end of 2017, two engineering students from the SIGMA chemistry school in Clermont-Ferrand took part in the INCI Beauty project. Since November 2018, a chemical engineer has joined us and gives us his scientific support to give you the best guidance on the function of INCI ingredients, in order to offer consistent rating and objective results, regardless of any commercial interest.

Almost 15,000 different chemicals can be used in cosmetics. Which ones are controversial? Which ones are the most natural? Can any of them have a negative impact on our health or our environment?

INCI Beauty is the most complete application on the market that helps you decipher the contents of cosmetics and take back the power over your consumption.

Our independence

INCI Beauty is a French application, totally independent. No brand in the cosmetics sector can directly or indirectly influence the ratings proposed by INCI Beauty.

Our scientific approach

Since 2017, we have been working in close partnership with the Clermont-Ferrand Sigma School of Chemistry. Engineers and engineering students have been able to accompany us at different stages of the project. They also participate in the writing of many technical articles on our blog.

Our funding

INCI Beauty "self-finances" its development thanks to its historical price comparator Touslesprix.com, its integrated advertising system, its Premium offer and its pro subscription system.

Our commitment

INCI Beauty is a member of "1% for the Planet" and donates 1% of its turnover to environmental organisations. This year, INCI Beauty is supporting 4 French associations.
