How to utilize Instant Heart Rate, a heart rate counter, for precise heart rate measurements?

Simply place your finger on the phone's camera to reveal your resting heart rate.

Bear in mind that pressing too hard on the camera lens may alter blood circulation to your fingertip.

How frequently should you employ Instant Heart Rate?

For reliable results, Instant Heart Rate should be used daily to track your heartbeat or pulse. It’s advised to distinguish between resting heart rate and workout heart rate by monitoring your heart rate post-sleep or during fitness sessions.

What is considered a normal heart rate or heartbeat?

As per the American Heart Association (AHA) and the Mayo Clinic, a typical resting heart rate falls between 60 to 100 beats per minute (BPM). Various factors such as stress, anxiety, depression, emotions, activity level, fitness status, body composition, and medication intake can affect heart rate. Understanding your heart rate is crucial for assessing heart health and cardiovascular well-being. Heart rate variability plays a key role in gauging stress on the body.

The technology involved: Instant Heart Rate detects a color change in the user’s finger tip each time the heart beats and uses an advanced algorithm to show the heart rate.

It's accurate when I'm worried about my pulse. When I feel dizzy, it helps me know my heart rate.

I miss when apps could just do their thing without needing a Facebook or Google login. This app used to be like that.

Your app is so bad. Who came up with the idea of needing to have the light on while putting your finger on the camera? It's making my finger hurt and it takes forever to even get my fingerprint recognized. This app is completely useless.

I am deleting this app because it only allows a few free readings before asking for a subscription. I found a better app in the Play Store that works faster and doesn't require a subscription. I downloaded it because my Google Fit App recommended it, but it's a shame it didn't work out.

This app is really accurate, just don't move around too much. I tested it against a few other devices and the difference was only 1 to 2 heartbeats per minute. Awesome app!

My app used to save data, but now it doesn't. I paid for a subscription for 5 years and it worked well with my Galaxy S4—it saved the waveform measurements and generated monthly reports. However, when I switched to the Galaxy S10, it only saved heart rate data and no longer saved the waveform. Then, after an update, I couldn't generate reports anymore so it stopped saving any data. After exchanging several emails with Danica, the issue wasn't resolved even with version 5.36.8705. I decided to cancel my subscription. If the app went back to how it was before, I would consider subscribing again.

This app is so cool! The readings are spot on. I checked them against my oximeter, and they matched perfectly. It's really awesome! 😊😊😊❤

I have health problems and this app helps me keep track of my heart rate. It's the most important app on my phone!

The app might not work properly because the light on my camera is too strong. My finger started burning when I tried to use it to measure my heart rate. I couldn't push through the discomfort, so I didn't get an accurate reading.

So I have to log in now? The app was fine before without that. I don't want to give my personal information for marketing purposes. It's annoying how everything requires login these days. And the permissions this app asks for are too much, except for the camera. They don't need all that. If I could, I'd give it zero stars. I read other reviews and it seems like everyone is upset with the new version. The developers really messed it up this time.
