Internet Speed Meter Lite for Android is a simple app that displays your Internet speed in real time in the status bar and your data usage history in the notification pane. You'll receive separate readouts for WiFi and cellular data usage, and you can easily check Internet speeds for various networks and hotspots. Every time you download, you'll see a speed measurement in kB/s or MB/s in the upper left corner of your Android phone or tablet's screen. You can also view your download and data usage history for the past 30 days at any time with a simple swipe of your finger. Even the Lite version of the app is completely ad-free.

You can use the Lite version completely free and unlimited, or upgrade to the Pro version and get additional features, including a running graph to monitor your data usage and statistics for current session time and data usage. The Pro version even lets you monitor usage patterns for individual apps. While the app is a favorite among Android Marshmellow users, it's still working out some kinks in the new Android Nougat OS.
